HE KNEW THAT PEOPLE GENERALLY SAID SHOWING UP UNANNOUNCED was usually frowned upon by the majority of society, but liam felt it was more of a suggestion than an actual rule. it's how he's wound up here †standing at their door at what he felt was not too damn early, missing every single cue to leave, for the door to eventually be opened just a little wider to let him in. they look cute with that just-woke-up look on their face and their bedhead, wearing what may have made a more self-aware person blush. and he tells them just that †because why not? and he thinks nothing of being left alone in the kitchen while they go off to do⊠whatever they went off to do (he didn't ask †should he have asked?), and suppresses the urge to raid the fridge and make them something to eat. the sudden surge of self-control may or may not have something to do with the group chat finally responding and having many things to say about the multitude of impulsive decisions he had managed to make before nine a.m. he lights up when they return, flips the phone over, "so i have an idea." of course he does. "it's a long weekend, yeah? we should do something," not much of an idea when he says it out loud, but the wheels are turning, "like, go somewhere."
