Art wasnât that drunk. For once. The rhythm of his feet was fairly smooth as he made his way out the saloon, holding the door so Jillian could follow suit behind him. He caught her gaze and sent a wiggle of his brow her way. âAre we really doing this right now?â Were they really going to the mines to exterminate the red slimes wreaking havoc on the miners? // @dcwdrops

Arthur didnât really know either, and he didnât care the moment MOLLYâS FINGERS PRESS INTO THE MUSCLES IN HIS BACK. He canât help but let out a soft g r o a n of satisfaction as her fingers find a TIGHT KNOT that needs working out. Molly is right; itâs useless to work on this project now when heâs tired. Heâd feel much more up to it when he comes home from work tomorrow.
â Youâre right, â Arthur murmurs and puts down his wand, pushing himself to his feet so he can TURN TO FACE his wife. â Letâs go to bed. â

She could feel his eyes boring into her back, or maybe a better way to put it would be that she could feel him fucking her with his eyes. It brought the gentlest of blushes to her cheeks as she carried the vases of flowers from the cooler to be set on display. She had been here all morning, setting the flowers just right so the store could sell them without her actually be there.  Merritt turned and caught his eye finally, bringing a sunflower up to cover her grin. âOkay, I cave, what are you staring at?â
@dcwdrops // Art slouched lazily on the bench north of town, a safe distance from the festivities but just close enough to hear the gleeful music and shouts down below. He didnât come out to act sullen and sad, but what was a sullen and sad man supposed to do? He did manage, at least, a half-hearted wave when he saw Jillian approach. âHey, Jill.â

@jupiterdrcps // Art meandered aimlessly through the festivalâs booths, but nothing really called out to him. He wasnât in the mood for games, and he had to save most of his change for crops come spring anyway. His expression brightened slightly, though, when he saw Malia at her booth. âMalia, hey,â he greeted her with a nod. âWhatâs going on?â
@silvcrlining // The day after his birthday, Art marched into town to bang on Jemmaâs door. Then he got there and realized he did not know where she lived. Luckily, on their microscopic little piece of the earth, it wasnât hard to find someone or someone who knew where that someone was. So it wasnât long before Art was back to the task at hand, knocking heartily against Jemmaâs door and calling inside, âJemma, open up! Itâs me, Art!â
@dcwdrops //Â âDo you think we should do something with the farm this year?â Art asked Lizzie, a pensive weight in his tone. Surprisingly, he was thinking very hard about this. He didnât realize how close by spring lurked until he read the bulletin this morning, and for the rest of the day he moved as if through molasses, or perhaps more accurately as if he swam through his heavy thoughts about the farm. Heâd been in the valley now for too many months to even count, and he didnât have anything to show for it. What would his grandfather say?
