Clara Oswald walks around the halls, looking around. She had no idea where her first class was, and could only hope she'd find Rose soon.
Kappa Sigma entered the main hallway and spotted an unfamiliar face walking toward him. He stepped in front of her, waving his hands to get her attention. "Hi! Are you new here? You look lost."
Clara Oswald shook herself out of her trance and looked into some friendly green eyes, immediately smiling. "Oh, um, yes.. I am...and yes...I am.."
Kappa Sigma: "What's your first class?" he asked, snatching the schedule out of her hand before she could answer. "Oh! Shakespearean English. That's my first class, too. Follow me!" He ducked to the side and started down the hallway.
Clara Oswald awkwardly let him lead her. After all, how else was she suppose to get to class anyway? And he seemed to at least know where he was going. "Um, thanks?"
Kappa Sigma turned to face her so he was walking backwards. "No problem! I'm Kappa Sigma. You can call me Siggy, or Kap, or just Kappa. Nobody actually calls me Siggy, unfortunately." He frowned slightly. "Do you have a name?" he asked as he turned around, saving himself from tripping over something before reaching the classroom.
Rose Tyler sat early in the third row of Mr. Logan's Shakespeare class, legs crossed and eyes following the lines of a book in front of her. Her head popped up for a moment in the empty room, hearing voices approaching.
Clara Oswald: watched the strange guy guide her to her classroom with a mix of admiration and amusement. "I'm Clara. Clara Oswald." She said, smiling. "And you must be Amy's best mate. She told me about you." The brunette laughed, watching him awkwardly walk about with the coordination of a giraffe. He was definitely adorable.
Kappa Sigma "She didn't say anything bad about me, did she?" he asked, a mixture of real and pseudo-worry in his tone, as he stopped to open the classroom door for her. He walked in after Clara, excitement taking over as he spotted his brother's girlfriend, Rose, sitting in the room. "Rose!" he cried as he scurried to the desk to the right of hers and pointing to the one in front of him, shooting a small smile at Clara.
Rose Tyler laughed, seeing the familiar face--and chin--enter the room, giving a big wave. "Kappa!" She grinned at his enthusiasm, seeing the familiar brunette beside him and giving a wave to her as well. "See you've found my mate Clara--you'd best be being nice to her or I'll have your brother right on you, you hear me?"
Clara Oswald simply laughed, thinking the question didn't need an answer. "Thank you, Kappa." she smiled at the gentlemanly action, and waved at Rose, laughing at her comments. "Don't worry Rose, he was just showing me where class was." she said, watching him in the corner of her eye. She sat down, and straightened her skirt, but turned, wanting to still keep contact.
Kappa Sigma "Yeah, Rose, I was just showing her where class was," he said, unable to fight the urge to stick out his tongue at her. "Don't look now," he started, leaning in closer so he would whisper, "but Mr Logan's hair just moved."
Rose Tyler poked Kappa in the shoulder teasingly, shaking her head and crossing her ankles, placing her copy of Julius Caesar on her desk. She nearly snorted with laughter at his comment, leaning back and looking up at her old friend. "So, you liking things here so far? I mean, besides this fool." She teased, biting her lip as she grinned.
Clara Oswald "Oh. It's quite nice to be back. Even if it feels different. And..Kappa is....fine." Clara said, quietly, much more shy then her two fellow students. "But, I have to admit, the teacher looks a bit on the scary side." The brunette giggled a bit, having to meet the eyes of the attractive Sigma sitting behind her. She couldn't help herself, he was funny, and even if he was a bit awkward, Clara couldn't help liking him immediately.
Kappa Sigma ran a hand through his hair, letting out an amused chuckle. "He isn't scary," he whispered. "Just...strange. Rose is much scarier than he is," he said quickly, flinching reflexively in case Rose decided to hit him.
Rose Tyler The blonde frowned at the man in front of her, elbowing him just a bit roughly. "Oi," She snapped, unable to stop laughing. "Don't go on giving her the wrong idea about things! I've got enough trouble with other Sigmas!"
Clara Oswald raised an eyebrow. "Other Sigmas? You mean, Theta, the boyfriend, and...Clever. Right?" she asked curiously, somehow extremely interested in who these brothers were. Clever was an awfully weird name for a triplet like that. Not Greek like the other two.
Kappa Sigma "Oh, fine. I'll be nice, then," Kappa promised Rose—but he had his index and middle fingers crossed under his desk. He turned to Clara and smiled proudly. "Yep, that's right. Theta, Clever, and I—we're the Sigmas."
Rose Tyler "The boyfriend," She laughed, shaking her head. "Yeah, the lot of you are pains in the arse."
Clara Oswald laughed. "I could understand Theta, and maybe Kappa, but what's wrong with Clever?" she asked, now genuinely curious, they seemed to be ignoring the subject.
Kappa Sigma shrugged slightly. "Clever is just...the biggest pain in the arse out of the three of us," he told her, not exactly wanting to get into specifics. His jaw clenched, barely noticeably, as he thought about the unforgivable thing Clever did during their freshman year.
Kappa Sigma He shrugged off the thought as he played with the schedule that was still in his hands. "Oh—I didn't realize I still had your schedule." His eyes scanned it for a moment. "You have your next class with Clever. Tech."
Rose Tyler bit the inside of her cheek, nodding along with what Kappa said, resting her chin in her hands. "If that's how y'want t'put't. You're taking tech?" She frowned. "I've got history." Rose shrugged. "Just keep your distance."
Clara Oswald 's eyes narrowed. This was quite strange. She opened her mouth to talk again, wanting to ask more questions, but she had the suspicions that this was a very delicate subject. So she took her schedule from Kappa, smiling weakly, and turned around. Just as class was about to begin. It wasn't long before they were put into groups, and luckily, Kappa, Clara and Rose, were all together. They were talking about their summer reading, which was Much Ado About Nothing, even if they were starting Julius Ceasar that day. Clara adored Shakespeare, and found Much Ado to be her favorite comedy. She turned to Rose and Kappa. "So...did you actually read?"
Kappa Sigma A triumphant grin spread across Kappa's face as he leaned back in his chair, crossing his arms over his chest. He did try his best to maintain a decent grade point average, but handing him a book and telling him to write a report on it over summer vacation was just simply not going to happen. "Nope." He turned to Rose, awaiting her answer.
Rose Tyler reached into her bag, pulling out the play and straightening her back slightly. "I read it," She sighed, flipping through the pages. "Haven't written much'f anythin' yet, though. Oops."
Clara Oswald smiled at Kappa and shook her head. "I'm starting to get what Rose means, Kappa." she said saucily. "Well, shall we at least answer the questions, while chinboy sits there and looks pretty?"
Kappa Sigma's smile faded, his expression turning theatrically offended. "Oi! You're not supposed to take her side," he whined before reaching into his bag and pulling out his copy of the play—he might as welllook like he was working. The nickname she gave him registered in his mind a moment too late as he reached up and touched his chin, scoffing lightly.
Rose Tyler nodded, pulling a pen from her pocket. "She's completely allowed to take the right side, Kappa!" She laughed, her voice hushed as she looked down at the paper, jotting down whatever she remembered. "Chin boy, I like that."
Clara Oswald She simply raised an eyebrow. "I have known her longer, no matter how cute you are." she simply replied, smirking as she grabbed a pen, taking out the book.
Kappa Sigma "Bugger off, Rose." He chuckled and threw his pen at her arm. Kappa tapped his finger against the cover of his book absentmindedly for a moment. "You can't make fun of my chin one moment, and then call me cute the next. Choose one."
Rose Tyler Her eyes darted back and forth for a moment between the two, grinning to herself. "Oi, would the two of you stop bickering and someone tell me a proper theme for the play that isn't something cheesy like 'love conquers adversity'?"
Clara Oswald was still looking into green eyes, a smirk on her lips. "Make me choose one, chinboy." she said, barely a whisper. "The Importance of Honor, Rose, because of the weight on Hero's honor, how it actually could change their love into immediate dismissal." she said, but she didn't turn to Rose, still smirking, still looking into his eyes.
Kappa Sigma Kappa waved a hand toward Rose in an attempt to hush her without breaking his gaze away from Clara's eyes. "Well, maybe I will," was the best comeback he could muster as he leaned closer, but just a bit.
Rose Tyler "Honor," She muttered, jotting down the words in her somewhat messy script. Her honey-colored eyes glanced back and forth between the two. "Beatrice and honor?" She laughed, trying to ease the tension, tapping Kappa on the forehead with her pencil. "You're getting a grade f'this too. Work."
Clara Oswald was entranced by him. Which was strange, because she never reacted to men this way, she was drowning in his eyes, his adorable smirk, and was practically smitten. Then Rose tapped Kappa's head, and like snapping out from under a spell, Clara started writing again, avoiding Kappa's eyes.
Kappa Sigma His hands flew up to swat at Rose's pencil. "We have less than five minutes of class left! And besides, I don't have a pen because I threw mine at you," he reminded her, tilting his head down to stare at the pen under her desk.
Rose Tyler "And who's fault is that, eh?" She grinned cheekily, kicking the pen over to him. "Well, you'd best get something done for this. Just because you know I'll pull it together last minute to get a decent grade doesn't mean it's right."
Clara Oswald smiled a bit at the interaction, and then said "Don't worry Rose, even if chinboy leaves you I'll help us get a good grade." she smiled. And then she stared at her paper, trying so very hard not to look up at Kappa, even if their eyes did meet a few times. The bell rang, and her first class was over.
Kappa Sigma Kappa rolled his eyes at both of them as the bell sounded. He shot up out of his seat and gathered his things before pushing past someone to loosely wrap an arm around Clara's shoulders. "And for the record, I'd prefer to be 'cute,' because my chin is a perfectly normal size, thank you," he whispered close to her ear just as they passed through the doors.
Melody Pond was leaning against the wall next to the door, waiting for Kappa. She quickly spotted him, his arms wrapped around another girl. Rage burned inside of her as she walked over him, planting a light kiss on his cheek. "Good Morning Kap."
Rose Tyler quickled scrambled, pulling her things together before preparing to head to the building over for her concentrated history courses. Out of the corner of her eye, she saw the three, her heart aching for her old friend as she wave a small wave before quickly scurrying by without making a scene.
Clara Oswald was trying not to feel her heart rate significantly raise as Kappa whispered in her ear.  "Cute it is, Chinboy." she smirked and laughed anyway, till they walked out of the classroom, and found a blonde seemingly waiting for him. She watched, her eyebrows knitted as she kissed Kappa on the cheek. Clara caught the glare, and her eyes widened just a little. What exactly had she done wrong?
Kappa Sigma retracted his arm the moment he saw Mels. "Hey, Mels," he greeted her with a smile before turning his head to look back at Clara. "This, uh... This is Clara. Clara, this is Melody, my girlfriend."
Melody Pond glared at Clara before simply greeting her. "Hi," she stated coldly before turning to Kappa. "We have physics next."
Clara Oswald took the hint. "I'll just...go. See you later Kappa. Nice to meet you...Melody." Clara politely waved and walked down the hall to what she hoped was tech. She tried to ignore the sinking in her stomach. He had a girlfriend... Shaking her head, she just focused on finding her class. Sometimes for a genius, Clara could be thick.
