Hey fans, this is what I’m doing these days! I’ve accepted the position of cafe manager for Greenmount Coffee Lab, the cafe front for Thread Coffee Roasters. Thread’s focus is on transparent ethical sourcing, working directly with farmers we want to be in solidarity with. It’s very exciting to be a part of a queer and woman-owned co-op that empowers everyone and works towards social justice.
Check out this video Human Being Productions did for Thread Coffee! They’re one of Red Emma’s affiliated projects. They roast at the bookstore/coffeehouse on North Avenue and vend their beans throughout Baltimore plus they’re partnered with a whole bunch of cool projects. More info here.
