"i am rooting for you" oh???? oh???????? tree reference? also being referred to in the plural, "y'all" on status screen but "you" on skill screen.

my Swan of Censor's backstory: "They grew up in a sparkling sea-side town. Now they are a toxic person, but are more than a little edgy. They also feel comfortable around the dead. They also wear only black. Additionally, they always have a light source on hand." is maybe... a little to close for comfort.

i almost called this menusim, before remembering zampanini. hm. HMMMMM.

And then I unlocked, on the skill tree "Mass Grave" to get the credits! "You have defeated the evil Doctor Slaughter! Congratulations! Don't forget to try again to see what mysteries you missed being restricted to your current Title!"

So. We've got the little red menu voice, the rude red console voice, the text content of the menus (TODO etc.) and JR notes. How many different entities are at play here?

hopping into the rabbit hole with the code from the credits gives me more. Researcher Ria, who is R5 of the Theta Department and Dev- or L-O-R4 (she/her). I don't remember this from playing a while back. I know this is an evolving being but it's still so novel to see. gonna take a break, I'll be back later or tomorrow! Or never, can't rule that out.
