It's 2 o'clock in the morning. I'm imagining, fantasizing the outline of your lips. Your soft, perfect, full lips. When we met, your smile attracted me first. As I outlined it with my eyes, I looked into yours and it was as if a flame ignited in me causing fireworks to explode. It was as if a million and one butterflies came out but yet I was calm, cool and collected. They say if you truly like someone, you will have those fireworks, you will feel the butterflies in your tummy and yet you will be shy, awkward. With you, it felt complete. Whole. It was as if I saw you and I knew what love looked like, what a future looked like with someone I just met. It was a movie, the type of movie I could watch and rewatch for a billion times and never get sick of it. I would rewind to my favorite parts and pause on the moments I never wanted to end. With you, it was as if everything that hurt, did not hurt anymore. With you, it felt exciting but calm. With you, it felt as if I could do anything in the world. With you, you had faith in me, in us, in everything that was thrown our way. They say you meet your soulmate young. I say you have many soulmates in the world but the first one, the first soulmate you have, you might just compare the others to this one. This one, you have a connection with. You feel things you never thought you could feel in the darkness of a storm as the pouring rain hits you, collides with the salt taste tears that are forming out of your eyes. You feel the possible in the impossible, you find your light, your happiness, the missing piece to your puzzle. You find yourself within them. It is the most magical feeling you can get. The moment you know laying next to them, everything drifts away, everything comes to you in a different perspective. Its 2'oclock in the morning and I'm sitting here thinking about your lips. Tracing the image that I can never forget, the smile that makes me smirk and feel as if I'm that little girl again from the night we met. I'm sitting here thanking the world for bringing you to me because when I saw you, when our eyes met, I saw the future. I saw color through your eyes and I was no longer trapped in my black and white world.
