Nowadays, most of us, especially the youths get easily involve into a "relationship". Am I the only one who's aware of those people na elementary palang eh they are in a relationship na? Yes there's nothing wrong with it, you can. I mean, it is not written in the Bible naman na bawal. But as you enter in a relationship you should know your responsibilities and limitations as well as preparing yourself from surprises and heartaches. Yes, napakaraming responsibilidad ang papasukin mo. Instead of focusing yourselves in your studies, nagkakaroon pa ng kahati. Anyways, we have our freedom nga naman diba? The question is, ready ka na ba talaga?
Whether you are in a relationship now or planning to be in a relationship or you just came from a relationship, here are some words for you.
1.DON'T EXPECT, Never expect!
"Heart is deceitful above all things and beyond cure..." -Jeremiah 17:9
Yes. Heart is deceitful. Never expect. Maging maingat. Expectation is the root of all heartaches. And also never ever expect that your partner will provide the kind of love and care you wanted to feel. Why? Because ONLY HIM could give you that. Yes! Siya lang talaga. Kaya ka nasasaktan because you are expecting. Only God can satisfy your needs. Mas maganda na mag expect ka ng something kay God because I know He will exceed what you are expecting. And He knows what’s best for you. Trust Him!
2.DO NOT BE SELFISH.
Don't be selfish! Sa love, you need to deny yourself. That’s true love. True love is self-giving. Katulad ng great love ni Lord sa atin. Handa niyang tiisin ang lahat for us. Jesus sacrificed His own life for each of us dahil mahal ka Niya. Wag puro sarili. Give and take yan.
3.YOU DON'T KNOW EACH OTHER'S PERSONALITY A 100% "YOU WILL NOT KNOW THE TRUE MENTALITY OF YOUR PARTNER EVEN IF YOU ARE WITH HIM/HER FOR A LONG PERIOD OF TIME"
As time goes by, there will be such circumstances na you’ll encounter new things. It’s inevitable. It’s part of growing and knowing if you're for each other. So there will be possibilities that your partner might act differently. If that happens, never say or think of "hindi tayo para sa isa't-isa". Kasi GOD made us unique from each other, para bang opposite attracts? Ganerns. And of course, its just a challenge for the partners how they will face that kind of situation. It's important also to put God as the center of your relationship. Relationship works best when God is the heart of it.
4.BE PATIENT
"He has made everything beautiful in it's time..." -Ecclesiastes 3:11
'When the time is right, I, the Lord, will make it happen' - Isaiah 60:22
There is a time for everything. Learn to wait for God's perfect timing. The best way to find love is to find God first, to put Him first in your life. Again, there is always a right time. No matter how long it takes, when God works, it's always worth the wait. Don't rush into love. Hindi porket lahat na ng nakikita mo sa paligid mo may jowa na at ikaw na lang ang nag-iisang single sa squad niyo eh you' ll join the bandwagon na rin. I repeat, don't rush into love. Let it find you. God has His own way. He is preparing YOU and your Mr/s Right. For when the right time arrives, you'll both be ready. Trust on His plans. For He is writing the best love story for you.
'WALANG FOREVER.' 'MAGBI-BREAK DIN KAYO.' 'LOLOKOHIN KA LANG NYAN.'
These are just some of the thousand hugot lines of ‘sawi’ out there. MAY FOREVER NGA BA?
Maniwala ka man o sa hindi, ilang beses ka mang pinaiyak, sinaktan, pinaasa, pinagpalit sa iba, yes, FOREVER DO EXIST. Inuulit ko, may forever po.
The LOVE OF GOD is so great and that would remind us that FOREVER REALLY EXIST.
"This is how God showed His love among us, He sent His son into the world that we might live through Him. This is love: not that we loved God, but He loved us and sent His Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins." - 1John 4:9-10
"For God so loved the world that He gave His One and Only Son for us, that whoever believes in Him, shall not perish but have ETERNAL LIFE." - John 3:16
God really loves us. He really, really loves us. He gave His all for us, Jesus Christ, His Son, surrendered His life on the cross because He loves us. Sa Kanya lamang natin mararanasan at matatagpuan ang FOREVER. What kind of 'FOREVER' am I talking about? It's the ETERNAL LIFE, the gift we received through JESUS CHRIST. (Romans 6:23)
A life without Jesus will always lead to emptiness. There is an empty space inside you that only Him can fill. The only relationship that will complete you and would remind you that FOREVER REALLY EXIST IS ONE WITH CHRIST. To fall in love with Jesus is the greatest of all romances. MAY FOREEEEVEEEEER!
