 I was watching Abby scenes and is it just me or was everyone else kinda mad or at least weirded  out at Owen during the scene where Jerry and Abby are saving the Zebra??

Like Jerry asked for help to hold her so Abby can get in there to free her and Owen only cared about going back to the hospital and leaving her there???? Like am I the only one who took it like that? Like how much of a dick do you need to be to see a wounded animal in pain like that and just go “We need you at the hospital” like well no fucking duh but Jerry has bigger things on his plate.

 I understand that Owen was young and for all we know he might of not known about the zebra in the scene but I’ve been reading @ pinkchubbiebunnie posts on Owen in general and I think this scene (and I don’t know if anyone has touched on this or not if so then please carry on and I’m sorry for wasting your time lol)  and it just seems like in general  even as a teen(?) he didn’t really care about what happened to people or anything really unless in benefited him (if that kinda wasn’t obvious anyway) because in that scene his benefit was bringing back Jerry. Yes I understand that it’s because Ellie’s there and everything but I think it was pretty clear that Jerry doesn't care in that moment. Even after they set the zebra free Owen wants to go back and not check on her like I don’t really understand how you can look at a hurt animal and not want to help and then check and see if they’re okay after it. 

I really appreciate more that the fandom and naughty dog aren’t just focusing on that singular aspect of her character, because there is... so.. much more to Ellie than that.

Like I look through Ellie’s tag and there’s lots of her and Dinah— and that’s average and wonderful. You look through Tess’ tag and she’s with Joel.
