Ok, funny story. Tarvers, the name, I really just had it in my head for a while and I just really liked the sound of it and a few years back I actually wrote a little blurb of a male Sergeant, called Sergeant Tarvers, but never went anywhere with it, until I hit the Band of Brothers group and was like welp my oc’s last name will officially be Tarvers now :) and Charlotte I think came from me just really liking the name Charlotte and just how it flowed in general with the last name Tarvers!!
Creating her, I really used the tactics of a medic and many bits of my own personality in myself to make her, her own character, to really draw attention to certain aspects of her character and such which was a joy to right. But she wasn’t even 50% me, because I can not live with making my oc’s exactly like me, I just can’t LOL, but I put bits and pieces of myself in my oc’s!! And the thing that inspired me was my mom actually :) my mom has a lot of Charlotte’s personality traits, and so creating Charlotte, I used an example of my own mom for her and I’m so glad I did because now I think of my mom when I think of Charlotte :)
BRO I DONT KNOW WHY I CHOSE SPEIRS - i went in with no love interest in mind actually, but as i wrote i slowly saw speirs really working with charlotte’s dynamic and speirs is actually a lot like my dad ( the marine ), and so it actually worked out really well!! speirs just came out as a clear front runner for working with charlotte and her personalities and their love for each other!!
