Imagine (assuming the first time Thompson and Flug met was just as any other client in Black Hat's office) Flug was kinda rude like towards Ghoul in the 6th episode. bc Thompson can be sorta awkward and Flug loses his patience so fast when someone misunderstands him in the slightest he just starts correcting people with an unmatched passion-

and instead of getting offended or sad Thompson just looked at him like "Oh my god that is so cute. He's so smart. I love him. Beautiful. How he stands there lecturing me." Just internally MELTING whenever Flug gets real smug and sassy just bc he actually knows better, can't even argue that.

Bonus if Thompson commented on Flug's rant with a genuine "Fascinating...!" and Flug did not expect praise especially after being kind of mean there for a second and immediately switches to being a blushy stammering mess, feeling sorry for coming on so strongly while simultaneously being proud of having his ego fed bc he can't believe he actually impressed someone. The duality of this man.

i can see Flug being a bit rude to Thompson at first LOL, definitely. Thompson would be a bit sad (since he's a sensitive person) but his attraction towards Flug would probably be much stronger than any feelings of hurt during moments like that. Thompson wouldn't be too surprised about Flug being that way since he's a supervillain. it's to be expected!!!! he would find it very attractive. especially the thoughts you wrote, Thompson would definitely have those thoughts in mind, staring down at Flug.

after Flug would finish his lecturing or ranting, Thompson would probably say something like "Th-Th-Thanks for the input... I'll take that into consideration." sweetly (not sarcastic, Thompson is not good at sarcasm), which would probably cause Flug to be a blushing mess HAHAHAHAH

Thompson would probably make excuses for Flug 🥹 (he would also become even more flustered/blush-y when Flug apologizes. he would think to himself "wow, this supervillain that could easily kill me if he wanted to is apologizing to me?!")
