[TR] "Emulsifier", 160 cam şeritten yapılmış, elle boyanmış anamorfik bir heykeldir. Parça döndürüldüğünde, her 90° açıda dört gizli görüntü belirir. Cam şeritler, lazerle kesilmiş yarıklarla ahşap bir tabana yapıştırılır. Görüntüler, geleneksel vitray pencereler için kullanılan renklerle boyanmıştır. Görüntülerin tüm parçaları şeritler üzerine ayrı ayrı boyalıdır. Parça yaklaşık 35x35x35cm boyutundadır. (2014)
[ENG] The ’Emulsifier’ is a hand-painted anamorphic sculpture made of 160 glass strips. When the piece is rotated, four hidden images appear at every 90° angle. The glass strips are stuck into a wooden base with laser-cut slits. The images were painted with the same colours used for traditional stained glass windows. All fragments of the images were painted separately on the strips. The piece is about 35x35x35cm in size. (2014)
[TR] Thomas Medicus, dört gizli anamorfik tablo içeren dönen bir cam heykel olan 'Emulsifier' çalışmasını yarattı. Parça, dört tarafı tamamlayıcı resimlerle elle boyanmış 160 cam şeritten yapılmıştır. Yalnızca nesne döndürüldüğünde ve doğru açıdan bakıldığında görüntüler görünebilmekte.
[ENG] Thomas Medicus created the work ‘Emulsifier’, a rotating glass sculpture that contains four hidden anamorphic paintings. The piece is built from 160 glass strips hand-painted on four sides with complimentary images. Only when the object is rotated and viewed from the right angle, do the images appear.
