The best I can tell you is that it's very much a "good for its time" sort of game. That doesn't mean I haven't enjoyed it though. It's a very grindy game, admittedly. Especially once your level keeps getting higher and the experience points and money are rather low.

Like, for example, I now have my character up to level 8 and I have to grind over 3,000 exp in order to level them up. But! Each defeat probably only nets you like...between 10-15 exp for each monster you defeat. I am not kidding when I say you have to work in this game to level yourself up. It's the kind of game that takes dedication and I honestly only play it for like an hour or two each time to avoid burn out.

Nevertheless, I can't deny the combat can be kind of fun since you're basically playing as a magic swordsman that just unleashes magic with the use of each sword you pick up, along with the these magic orbs that you pick up to use with it. I also like that long range is the optimal choice for combat because it means you don't have to get in close to the enemy and worry about being killed off quickly if you take hits.
