The unbelievable Thomas Leeb!
This is really cool, not only is the rendition fantastic and really chill, the way the video is filmed is neat too.
This is my brother doing a cover of Grooveyard by Thomas Leeb :)

Guitarist Studies African Percussion for Three Years And This Is The Result
Thomas Leeb is a self taught world traveled musician â and youâve never heard of him before. An inspiration behind the film, âAugust Rushâ heralded by David Gilmore of Pink Floyd as having a âlovely soundâ⌠this artist brings a truly inspired touch to acoustic guitar playing. He studied at world famous CalArts but focused not on guitar but rather, African Percussion. The result of this blending in styles is something you truly must see to believe.
So, youâve never heard of him before, until now.
On the eve of his world wide video release for new trackâTricksterâ, Thomas sat down with The Mind Unleashed to give an insightful, inspiring, quirky, and funny interview.
His âTricksterâ video can be found above, if you watch it and feel it is as amazing as we do â share it far and wide with all your friends. As Thomas says, âI have 18 kids to feed on my music career alone.â
The Mind Unleashed:Â How would you describe your journey as a musician?
Thomas Leeb:Â I picked up the guitar at age 13 because I wanted to meet girls and ended up falling for the instrument instead. For some reason I was drawn to the acoustic and ended up messing around with a lot of open tunings while everybody else was still shredding on their electrics. Being an independent artist has never been easy and itâs always a challenge but I wouldnât have it any other way.
