Flowai Family Fun Time!!(Part 1)
Authors Note: Hey Everyone! So I had this idea in my head for quite a while now. Its actually the main reason I wanted to reboot some of my MCs in the first place. At first, I wanted to finish the bios, then write this but whatever. Its just fanfiction after all. This is the first time that I'm breaking a Choices fanfic into multiple parts. So sit back relax and enjoy.
It was the end of junior year and soon to be the beginning of summer vacation! Erica had a lot of fun during the school year. There was the field trip to the aquarium, the science fair, and that doe that somehow got into the school.
It was returned to the wild safely...
Erica and her friends were ready to go. It was hard enough with the SATs, the ACTs, and not to mention the start of finding colleges. Erica soon placed her hand on her palm and stared at the clock, watching the seconds go by.
Tick...
Tock...
Tick...
Tock...
Tick...
Tock...
She was hypnotized by the rhythm that she almost didn't notice the sudden tap on her shoulder. It was her boyfriend, Caleb Mitchell. He had a concerned look on his face.
"Erica?, he asked, I was asking what were you doing for summer break this year?"
Erica blinked, she really wasn't paying attention to a word he said. She regained composure and tried to answer Caleb's question.
"I'm probably going to volunteer at the aquatics center at the zoo!" Erica answered.
Caleb chuckled. "You always liked those rainbowfish!"
Erica blushed, they were like children to her.
Soon the final bell rang and everyone got up and made their way out! It was practically a stampede!!
After escaping the ruckus hugging and saying goodbye to all her friends, plus a kiss session with Caleb, it was time to head home.
Erica was nearing her home when she noticed some extra cars there. The cars were unfamiliar at first but as she got closer to her house she began to recognize the cars. That meant one thing...
Her brothers were home!
Erica soon came out of her car and ran straight into the house. She burst into the living room to two males.
One was laid back, with his feet on the coffee table. A charismatic smirk spread on his face with crossed arms to match. This was Yarrow. Yarrow's brown eyes looked on to the older brother. The brother was more stern and serious. He was well dressed with a proper suit and tie. This was Ivy. His brown eyes looked back at his younger brother.
"Mom said "get your feet off the counter!"" Ivy exclaimed.
"Oh relax!, Yarrow replied, They aren't causing any trouble!"
"Its still disgusting!!!"
"What? Like those over frosted cookies you like so much?!"
"Sh...shut up! There delicious!"
"Putting Nutella on a chocolate chip cookie is so fucking-"
Yarrow stopped as his looked at Erica and immediately placed his feet off the coffee table.
"Oh now you take your feet off!" Ivy sighed.
There was split second of silence before Erica ran up and tightly hugged each of her brothers.
Really, really tightly.
"OH MY GOSH GUYS!!! Erica exclaimed, ITS BEEN SO LONG, I MISS YOU SO MUCH! HOW ARE THINGS? HOWS THE CREW? HOWS THE LAWFIRM! HOWS-"
Erica just kept blabbering and blabbering and blabbering while both brothers were in her grasp. Eventually Ivy broke free, allowing him and Yarrow to breathe.
"Everything's fine Erica, sheesh!" Ivy responded annoyed.
Erica soon began puffing up her face and whimpering. Its just that her brothers both barely shared there personal lives with her so she never really knew what was going on.
"Aww Mamoru, Yarrow pouted, You're making her cry!"
Ivy was shook. He didn't mean too. So he tried to reaffirm his sister.
"Oh Erica, I'm sorry! Ivy apologized.
Quickly Erica snapped back into a smile and...once again hugged her brother.
"Its ok Ivy!" Erica accepted.
Ivy's gasps and whimpers were soon silenced by a click of the front door. Stepping in was he trio's mother, followed by there step-father, then by three others. All of them were carrying groceries. Two Erica was able to recognize immediately!
A well dressed Black man, wearing all black with a fresh cut beard and a charming smile. The other was beautiful Asian woman, who was stylish and badass.
Rye and Eris.
Erica's face lit up at the duo, but then she turned to see stranger next to them. The woman had a sweet face, dawned with freckles. Brown hair that went well with the navy and white she wore.
Ivy went to the woman and took the bag from her hand. He then placed his free arm around her shoulder.
"Erica, this is Aislinn Tanaka, she's one of the Senior Partners at the Law Firm,...Ivy introduced,...she's also my girlfriend."
Aislinn blushed at statement but couldn't resist smiling. She then looked at Erica again then looked away.
"I didn't know you had a girlfriend." Erica stated.
"Well...I just didn't know how to tell you." Ivy responded.
For some reason Aislinn and Erica just starred at each other. Neither of them made an effort to talk to the other. It was actually kind of awkward when you think about it.
Just then Scott poked his head out the kitchen archway.
"So which one of you lucky contenders would like to help me and your mother with dinner?!" Scott asked.
"Oh I can Mr. Vine!" Aislinn volunteered, clearly trying to get out the situation.
Later, the whole family plus the three guests were having dinner.
Brussel sprouts, Mashed Potatoes, Tofurky for Erica and Steak for everyone else!
"Momma, this is so good!" Yarrow said, face full of food.
"Thank you Yarrow." Their mother thanked much to her dismay.
Aislinn and Erica continued to make glances at one another. Every move swayed in a rhythm. It was like they were dancing with their heads. It was so awkward.
This time it was Erica's turn to break the silence.
"So Mommy, Erica asked, what's with all the food?"
The mother looked at her two sons. "You two didn't tell her?" She asked.
"Tell me what?" Erica asked.
Yarrow and Ivy both looked at each other and cringed. Finally Ivy sighed at announced.
"It's our Flowai Family Reunion..."
Authors Note: I hope you enjoyed the first part. Flowai is what I called my tribe in ACOR. I want to focus on making a family dynamic fanfiction, a little based on my experiences. I love my family! I'm trying my best to keep everyone in character as well. I hope you like it.
