decided to make a sort of master post for @thistlecatfics, @blackstarkink and my rp turned fic series "never craved attention until i tasted your -extended universe-" fun fact, the original series, "never craved attention until i tasted yours" has fewer fics than this alt one, which seemed to have taken over our brains for now. originally prongsfoot and moonwater endgame turned into wolfstar, jily and kingsley/reg, but hey, we are not complaining. aas a matter of fact we are a bit obsessed. and we want to drag you all into this obsession with us.

we simply love toxic and problematic and second chances because well... that's life.

featuring chubby alcoholic (later in recovery) sirius black, ED (later in recovery) posh regulus, post-car crash broken baker remus who is terrible at therapy, kingsley is a king as usual, the best of best james. includes pining, infidelity and wrong choices, coping in ways that are terrible for the characters and everyone around them. and most of all lots of hope.

Almost immediately, though I often feel like I am not doing them justice.

what's the fic you've written with the angstiest ending?

Uh... that's a hard one. I have written SO much Angst. The most likely candidate are probably Guilt and shame (Sirius/Voldemort) though that feels a little cracky to me, and Window of opportunity (Sirius/Severus)

what's the fic you've written with the happiest ending?

I don't really do HEA, and all my happy endings have at least a sprinkle of sadness or at least scars from what was going on before. I think the most hopeful is probably Advent Calendar, a Drarry with Christmassy feeling and a soft ending.

do you write crossovers?

There is one WIP on my harddrive. That aside....

have you ever received hate on a fic?

I wouldn't say hate. Some people were upset about how I characterized their blorbos (faulty, how dare I), but real hatred? No. Maybe I am just too weird to get when someone means it hateful.

do you write smut?

OH yes!

have you ever had a fic stolen?

yep, unauthorized translation. My Russian is too bad to get it taken down (and I would have ALLOWED it, if they only asked)

have you ever had a fic translated?

Yes, as mentioned in Russian, but also in Spanish and Czech.

have you ever co-written a fic before?

As of yet, no... though I would love to work with some people

what's a wip that you want to finish but don't think you ever will?

A Black family project, where the younger generation unites to prevent being used as pawns by their parents and grandparents.

Oh yeah.. and the Arturian legend fic (Modred/Galahad) that i so want to write)

what are your writing strengths?

Emotion, Dialogue, description (when I bother), characterization

what are your writing weaknesses?

Fight scenes. They are my nemesis. I never seem to get them right (and I am doing a good deal of LARP, so I know how fights work in general)

Comedy. I can't be funny on command.

what are your thoughts on writing dialogue in other languages in a fic?

No strong feelings here. I have done it either way, both translated and with only translations in the footnotes, and both are valid.

what's a fandom/ship you haven't written for yet but want to?

Discworld, my forever unachieved goal. WIth how I struggle to write funny, I just couldn't do it justice.

what's your favourite fic you've written?

Impossible to choose just one. Even Categories don't do it justice. Also: it depends on my current state of mind, which I think is best.

But: I cannot resist showing off at least a few of my personal candidates.

Okay I love that question (although in this fic, it's Narcissa suffering a bad case of comphet but god I could write ages about THAT (and and and how it intersects with trans!narcissa like?? oh)) and lowkey I'm itching to write an essay now but I have actual essays to write and I don't have time until next week at the earliest SO I am making a mental note of that (please note that I've literally just downloaded Compulsory Heterosexuality and Lesbian Existence to my ereader, I'm gonna find more people talking about, I'm not kidding, this will come.)

This is a collab with @brokentoasterrr in which Narcissa is engaged and close to marrying Lucius when she figures why that thought has been making her anxious and miserable the whole time. Inspired by a tweet about someone going to a hair saloon to cut off her gorgeous long locks and get them dyed platinum while her phone keeps ringing like crazy. She does that. Engagement's over. Then she meets Dorcas her first time entering a gay bar. The focus is mainly on Narcissa figuring herself out though (and then smut).

26. Most disappointing video game you've played?

So actually played was Civ VI, I just wasn’t impressed, especially given how much it costs. So I returned it and am quite happy to keep playing Civ V.

Not played is the newer Spyro games. Oh wait! I did play one of them once, a 3DS version? It was AWFUL.

3. Least favourite genre?

Casual shooters/multiplayer type games. I have two friends I’ll play them in person with and that’s it. Also just MMO’s in general, not about that life.

6. Favourite game based on a film?

Ah I should have seen that one coming... *maniacal laughter*

And secondly.... I don't know if it's a worry as such but I definitely worry over almost everything I say to make sure that I dont secretly offend anyone! For example, I recently received a gift from my parents and then agonised over explaining to them that part of it would need to be swapped for a different version so the other part would work. And... These are my parents? I also apologised to a work colleague yesterday for being 'a lot's and she was just like.... "😐😐 What are you talking about?"

And it's surprising because offline I come across as SO confident that I know people find me intimidating and yet I am the BIGGEST baby!
