Allah (سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَى) doesn’t promise us that this life will be safe or sweet, but He promises that He will be near, closer than our own jugular vein. And sometimes, the way Allah shows His mercy isn't by changing the outside, but by building an ocean of patience and light inside you, so the storms can rage outside, but they can't destroy you.

ya Allāh, I know nothing and You know everything. guide me, help me - for without You, I am lost.
