So five months ago, I went into the studio with a song that made me think of my wonderful husband, Aaron. "Who am I? That your eyes, they shine on me?" The joy that his love brings me is immeasurable, and I felt compelled to choreograph something for him. It didn't need to be fancy or loud, because that doesn't represent our love for each other. Today, this completed piece, performed by six of my beautiful tap dancers, will perform again - one of only 4 selected dances, in a final Wrap It Up Ceremony at @dancemakersinc (DanceMakers). I just want to reflect on the roots of where this began. I thank the dancers for bringing this to the stage: the simple, but abundant joy that I feel for someone special! π ORIGINAL POST FROM AUGUST 4th: "Who am I? That your eyes, they shine on me. Ever in the palm of your hands. Eternally." Some days you #Tap for flash. Some days you tap for speed. And some days, you tap for feeling. For #TappyTuesday today, I tap my #Love for @theaaronharley and the joy he brings to my life. #ThisIsYourSong #TapDance #TapInspiration #WeaponsOfMassPercussion #NYC #Broadway #ILoveTap #LCATour
