🌴Do you know what beach this is? Our @airbnb was only a 15 minute walk here (would be faster if I actually ran 🤦🏻‍♀️), and then to walk the entire beach was another 15 minutes. That meant we made sure to walk to the beach at least once a day when we stayed here. 🛀 The one thing I did the most on vacation was take a bath. This is the second time we’ve stayed at this @airbnb, and aside it from being relaxing retreat down the street from the beach, this flat also has a jet tub. As the last stop of my 2018 Tub Tour, my December vacation stays must always have a tub. So for the first few days and nights in Hawaii, I made sure to set an appointment with the tub after all the day’s adventures. Hey everyone...I’ve been OOO for a good minute, but now I’m back! While I’ve been balancing life between exploring and relaxing, there are many things that I DIDN’T do on vacation, and that’s exactly what I needed. Here’s a list of what I didn’t do on vacation: . 🙅🏻‍♀️ Post on social media 🙅🏻‍♀️ Wear makeup 🙅🏻‍♀️ Paint my nails 🙅🏻‍♀️ Shop for clothes (or anything at all) 🙅🏻‍♀️ Go thrifting 🙅🏻‍♀️ Stand-up paddleboard 🙅🏻‍♀️ Eat at all the foodie spots 🙅🏻‍♀️ Go to the spa 🙅🏻‍♀️ Jump in a pool 🙅🏻‍♀️ Get in a hot tub 🙅🏻‍♀️ Go to the beach everyday 🙅🏻‍♀️ Take a nap 🙅🏻‍♀️ Read a book 🙅🏻‍♀️ Be social 🙅🏻‍♀️ RUN! . At any other time in my life, I would have thought it’s such a waste to not do any of the above on vacation. Don’t get me wrong, it’s not that I didn’t want to do any of it... I still did plenty of things to keep me inspired and I have lots to share. For this trip, I indulged in a different kind of adventure and self-care than usual.
