I don't know much about the German school system sorry! but how long are your school days? I guess it's far fetched when applied here because school is usually 8-3 so waiting until getting home is a little unrealistic so I'm assuming school days are shorter there?
Starts at 7:45 and ends at 1 for younger students, 3 for older ones.
I mean, okay, we had something like a cafeteria, but it wasn’t like we all went there during a specific time of day to eat a warm meal. It was a place where students hung out during break/recess or when they had a free period and you could buy little snacks like pretzels or candy bars there. But again, it wasn’t like the entire school was herded in there at a specific time to eat. Hell, you probably could seat like 4 classrooms in there, tops! If the whole damn school was standing in line, a good chunk of the line would end up in the schoolyard!

I think it's just definitely the culture shock because most schools here don't let you leave school for lunch (unless maybe you're a senior but even then it's a ~privilege~)
Seeing how this is the third response to that post that basically says this, I’m now baffled by another thing:
Why do you think I’m talking about leaving school to eat? Finish your school day, go home, eat.
Again, what’s so far-fetched about this idea?
@thisisallsuchnothing: HI YES YOU SHOULD GET THE TATTOO
I WANT TO OMG BUt last time i came home w one my dad didnt talk to me for 2 days so i probably won't get another until i move out or go to college in the fall lol

ocean
I live right by the Pacific ocean and yet can’t go swimming in it bc this is NW Washington.
Send me a word and I’ll tell you a fact about my life based on it.

this is really cool. I wanna do something like this but I feel like I would be awful at writing consistently
You should totally try it! Honestly I’ve always been horrible at journaling or anything like that consistently, but with this it’s nice because I feel like I can just write a sentence or two, it doesn’t have to be anything much, so there’s very little pressure.
The other thing that helps for me is that I kind of just incorporated it into my pre-bed routine, so now it’s just like engrained into my system...
Book thing
