Bingeing this was a breeze. Absolutely charming, very funny, delightfully eccentric and ultimately beautifully poignant. A sweet, silly and understated, masterpiece of a show. A mockumentary about life in a small rural village, it’s so perfectly judged and written that it does the classic thing of sneaking up on you with genuine emotion.
