'This Bright Future' by Bobby Hall (Logic) was incredible.
I have been following logic since I was 14 and I'm 21 now. I have all of his albums and even his novel. I wasn't surprised about a lot of the main points he told about his life growing up because he talks a good bit about it in the music he writes, but he put so much more detail into really describing everything he had gone through and the thoughts he had along with the emotions of being torn down by a mentally ill (sometimes racist) mother and having to deal with a lacking-crack addicted and alcoholic father. He talks in great detail about growing up poor, being around broken mental health, addiction, and race.
He really put it all out there and did it magnificently. He's lived quite the life, a life most people wont get to experience, and hopefully there's parts of his life people hopefully haven't gone through or will ever have to go through. I found it honestly Inspiring and fascinating how logic has always been himself and put it all out there and even after all the hate and judgement from the hip-hop world. He's pursued on from a life that was constant chaos, rage, hurt, and hate. Yet he still has chosen to spread a message of peace, love, and positivity. To rise against the things that have put you down and to grow even from places where nothing could,
