Day late - I've had the day off and it's been great: 1/2 hour of yoga than a 45 minutes shoveling snow. (I oddly don't mind shoveling snow. It's a good workout. I just hate the cold.)

1-Aside from social media sites, which site do you look at daily?

hiptosave.com; I'm very frugal and couponing blogs have helped save lots of money!

2-University or life experience, which do you feel best prepares you for life?

Life experience, by far. I don't really know how much I learned in the classroom in college. I am lucky enough to have a job where I'm learning something everyday - and none of this stuff was taught at the university.

3-What is the one thing that should be taught in school that isn’t already?

History is already taught in schools, but at least in my area, they don't do a good job at teaching WHY it's important to learn FROM history. Dates of wars or other things are not important if you don't know why you need to know those facts. That could probably be applicable to many other subjects. Don't just teach the stuff; teach why it's important to know the stuff.

4-If you were to create a piece of art, what would the subject be?

I'm not artistic whatsoever. But, if I could, it would likely revolve around nature, since I love being outside so much.

5-What one thing would you change if you had to do it over?

I would have been more confident at a younger age. I was way too shy and timid, and still come off that way sometimes.

6-If you could go back in time, what year would you travel to?

So in the school question it might've been obvious that I love history. I love studying culture and the different ways people lived. Any time before modern luxuries would be interesting to travel to, to see how people really got by. Maybe colonial days.

7-If you could live anywhere in the world, where would you live?

Hawaii. We visited there for our Honeymoon and I fell in love with the island. I could take in the warm weather, beautiful scenery (so many rainbows!) and good food every day. I could live off pineapple and their amazing snow cones.

8-Describe your dream job:

I love what I do, but would like something the same, that would require less time investment and earn more money. If I were really dreaming, there was this travel agent I talked to once who showed me pictures of her traveling for work - to Antarctica where she got to get off the ship and sit surrounded by penguins - so maybe a travel agent.

9-What would you do if you won the $1 million dollars?

Realistically, pay off all debts, invest some, help some family members who are actually trying to help themselves and then travel a lot.

10-If you had to change your name, what would you change it to?

Never thought about this one. My real name? I do already have a name picked out for if I ever have a daughter; my great-great-grandma's name was Ila - Ila Marie.

Shhhhhhh..... He's a "lab mix". We're not allowed to have "aggressive breeds" at our apartment complex. Fortunately he's having heartworm treatment so I never take him out for walks or anything (just short potty breaks) so hopefully we won't get caught haha.

What’s your relationship with chocolate?

I love chocolate. Chocolate is beautiful. Chocolate is amazing. Yesssss.

What was/is your favorite subject in school and why?

I love learning about psychology! It's actually my major (: I find it interesting to learn about why people do what they do. What makes people tick? That's interesting to me. 

What job did you dream of when you were younger?

I vaguely remember wanting to be a doctor, a vet, a professional jazz dancer, and I think I wanted to be a model at some point too? Lol. 

Are you happy?

I am most of the time (: I have a lot of things going for me, I have a wonderful boyfriend, supportive parents, and great friends. So I would say that I am happy, yes (:

How would you describe yourself in 3 words?

Determined, pretty (yes, I am calling myself pretty), and stubborn lol.

Why do you love your favorite book (or movie, if you don’t like to read) so much?

I can't choose just ONE favorite book! But in general, I like books that make me think, that make me able to escape my world for a little while. Books that draw you in and captivate you(:

How do you feel when you’re thinking about the universe?

Small. Lol. I feel small and unintelligent and I absolutely stunned by all the things I don't know.

I believe in being a good person. I believe that that's what is important in this life. Being good to those around you and only being around those people that are good to you. 

Do you trust people easily? Why (not)?

 I do. I generally trust people until they give me a reason not to. I mean, with common sense obviously. I wouldn't let some random person into my home in the middle of the night lol.

No, I don't (: none of them were overly invasive and I actually thought they were kinda fun to answer.
