Muppets Most Wanted was actually better than the 2011 film that it’s an official sequel to and deserves more love.

I’m not saying that I don’t like the 2011 movie at all, I just felt it was just slightly predictable with the idea of getting the Muppets all together again, whereas the sequel was allowed a bit more freedom with what exactly was going to happen that time around. I understand that the original songs in both films were written by Bret McKenzie and he even won an Oscar for one of his songs for the first one, but there’s something about the songs he wrote for the second one that I found more memorable than those that were in the first one. (Again, that’s not me saying they’re bad; they’re still good.) Also, I completely disagree with the critics who were saying that the celebrity cameos in both films were bad and distracting; a lot of the celebrities weren’t even in it for very long and the ones who did appear more than once did fine. It seems like an even more ridiculous criticism since almost all of the previous Muppet movies and even the shows all had their fair share of celebrities in them, so I have no idea why these two new ones get flak for having them. Overall I loved watching it and would love to own a copy of it for myself some time because it was so damn fun.

Plus, out of the two 2014 sequel movies I’ve seen Jemaine Clement in, this one is by far the superior one.

Interactions I enjoyed the most: Mabel and most anyone.

The character who scares me the most: For a while it was Gideon, but then season two happened and it became Bill.

The character who is mostly like me: Blendin, probably.

Hottest looks character: All of Blendin’s outfits look good. All of them.

One thing I dislike about my fave character: Wanting to ruin the twins’ lives after they (unintentionally) had him arrested is a bit, uh… bad. Not the worst thing someone’s tried doing to them, but still, it’s bad.

One thing I like about my hated character: Bill makes for an interesting, and at times entertaining, villain.

A quote or scene that haunts me: “When I get my hands on you two I’m going to disassemble your molecules!”

A death that left me indifferent: …I dunno.

A character I wish died but didn’t: Preston Northwest.

My ship that never sailed: I kinda wish BlenDos was canon. I don’t care if Dos was only briefly in one of the books and they barely interacted, I still wish it was canon.

Dos. Blendin feels guilty for forgetting it so much, but Dos is fine with it.

Dos is probably more accustomed to it than Blendin is, so probably him.

Yes.

Dos, if only because it wouldn’t work so much the other way around since he’s bald.

They don’t have a dog, they have a time cat. Blendin’s a little more okay with it than Dos is since Blendin’s mom always had so many of them and that was just a thing that would happen.

Blendin is the more likely of the two to get a little lonely.

Either one, really.

Blendin.

Who is a night owl: Tamatoa. Then again, I imagine he just sleeps whenever he wants, because who’s gonna make him do otherwise?

Who is a morning person: Neither one, but out of the two of them Ralph has an easier time with getting up in the morning unprompted.

Are they cuddlers: Not quite, no. They both usually just kinda like their space in general.

Who is the big spoon and who is the little spoon: …No?

What is their favourite sleeping position: Were they in the same room, Ralph would probably just sleep while partially leaning against Tamatoa, preferably close to his head.

Who steals all the blankets: Tamatoa steals all the blankets. For Ralph. Since blankets are tiny and wouldn’t do much for him, but he figures that they are roughly about the right size for Ralph. They’re not. Now Ralph has too many blankets that still aren’t big enough for him and everyone’s mad. Tama, please, no…

What they wear to bed: I imagine that by now Ralph has some proper pajamas (probably like the old cartoon-y kind with a night cap and such), and Tamatoa… well, he doesn’t wear clothes in the first place, so there you go.

Who likes seeing the other wearing their t-shirt: …Tamatoa doesn’t wear clothes…

Who falls asleep mid-conversation: Ralph, but he tries not to do that and it doesn’t happen that often.

Who wakes up in the middle of the night with nightmares: Both, Tamatoa’s just too proud to admit he has those kind of nightmares to most anyone else.

Who accidentally punched the other in their sleep: I’m not sure, but I imagine that’d be really uncomfortable for either one of them.

Who can’t keep their hands to themselves: Neither one is that touchy in general, but Tama does enjoy asking Ralph for hugs.
