It's my own personal Vargasversary here again! :D #I really got it in under the wire with this one lol but I did it! I did do it! 13 whole digital start-to-finish panels.....woaw......#Definitely the biggest of these anniversary projects thus far hehe <3 But I really wanted to see if I could do it and I did it! I'm happy :D #Inspired by many on this one ahh - the obvious being they ♥ As ever I still hold them so dearly love them so much <3 #The second inspiration source is probably also obvious lol but I've been using a newer-to-me technique to sketch to try and speed up drawing #Specifically inspired from watching Zarla's Handplates speeddraw videos! I'm still a little shaky with it haha #I fell back into my old habits more than once :P But now I understand what over-rendering a sketch means lol - knowledge!#And all-told I think this is probably the longest digital comic I've made in uhhhhhh - at least years #I don't wanna say ever because it still is only 13 panels and two of those share a frame haha but like! That's still a lot for me these days #So I'm pleased for being able to make it in short order! It was fun! I had a good time with it! :D And I think it turned out nice!!#And then the last inspiration source this time around was smol hehe ♪ Despite us both being grown I still tuck her in #It's just something neither of us grew out of haha - it's nice! Another point in us being very Sans and Papyrus lol #But I wanted to give it to the Vargases this time because - eee - smol's turning the age I was when I first read Vargas this year #Obviously my family knows about Vargas as I Will Not Shut Up About It lol but I'm still the only one to have read it #Partially because of how intense and scary it can be! As much as I love it I recognize it's not for everyone - as much as I wish it was haha #But smol and I have pretty similar tastes when it comes to media - so I'm finally inviting her to read it with me ♪ Ahh ♫#Getting to share one of my very favourite stories with one of my very favourite people is exciting just to think about!!#And also getting to reread Vargas again hhhhhh I'm feeling Fine and Normal about approaching it again hahahh #Definitely haven't been thinking about and wanting to reread it A Lot Constantly lol #So drawing them again was nice <3 And the new* medium made certain details stand out all the more!#The process of discovery of art as it appears on the screen haha - Scriabin's hand reaching for Edgar only to clench upon his rejection ahh #That last one is also something of a stealth redraw of Scriabin listening to Edgar's heart in mainfic that I made - somehow four years ago??#Nearly five now....more than half of the way back from my having read it the first time ah how'd it get to be so long now...#Every year - every month - every week - every day - every hour - it is Vargas Loving Hours ♥

crawling out of my hermit wizard tower to finally post another costume .. I wanted to do something higher effort with like, two sets of horns and elaborate head jewelry and makeup and such but I started to feel headachy, so alas... lol.. Just some sort of elf in fancy jewelry... Perhaps going to an Event? Or, maybe they just look That Way all the time and this is them going to pick up groceries.

#fantasy costume #elf #fantasy fashion #fashion #The eyelashes always look a bit weird since you can still tell they're black underneath lol. I actually dont have white mascara but I hav #this ''lash extender'' mascara that is basically a clearish white and is made to be the layer you put UNDER black mascara #to make your lashes look bigger - and instead I just put that on and then when it's still wet I dab it with loose white eyeshadow #until its mostly all white. then I let that dry for a minute - sometimes adding a second layer. and THEN I will add color over the #now kind of 'light gray/whitish' eyelashes. Like in this I just added a light golden blond looking color #But I can't get it that far down since I don't like poking my eye so the very base of the eyelashes always still has a dark part lol #Maybe one day I will learn to do fake lashes but everytime I've ever tried it just feels crazy and I don't like the glue #I'm very glad I found that i still have a bunch of those star shaped paperclips (which i just bend slightly and use on the side of the #mouth to hold jewelry) because I thought I only had one left and it was worn like... a year ago and looked very musty and suspicious and #I was like... yeagh i cannot put that in my mouth even for a few minutes to take pictures lol... I need to clean many of my fake piercings #actually but I keep forgetting about it until I'm actuallyplanning a costume and then i don't feel like it so I'm running out of options.#I will have nothing left to accessorize and then be forced to clean.. (i dont even know how to clean jewelry..?? I have no real piercings #and dont wear jewelry so it's something I'm unfamilair with.. Especially things that are not even meant to be jewlery (like paper clips #from the dollar store and random rings from keychains and etc.) I wonder if maybe those are just a 'yeah once it gets dirty throw it away'#situation.. hrmm...) ANYWAY.. at least I've done SOMETHING. My other main goals are still to get back to game videos (even though I am #the only one that cares about them lol it is FUN to MEEEEeee). make another sculpture. FINISH MY OWN GAME AAAAGhh1!!#Though the main thing is correcting my sleep schedule that has somehow become horribly off..?? Which I think will then help with the whole #'staying awake' and 'generally functioning' thing.. It's been migrating slowly later for like a year but this year and especially this #month sometimes I was getting to bed at even 2am and waking up at 7 like.. erm.. ERM. In terms of the long term health affects of #sleep deficit on the mind and body. It makes me paranoid I'm literally lowering my own lifespan and exploding my brain but it's been #SO hard to correct. I need to have a week straight where I don't even do anything productive my ENTIRE goal from the time I wake up is just #to go to sleep at a reasonable hour lol... agh.. OKAY.. ''anywaaay'' FOR REAL <(must stop rambling)#self #OKAY one last note - I think pale eyes could have made this WAY cooler.. I have GOT to learn to study the mysterious art of Contacts..#(mysterious to ME.. chronically an 'I hate anything near my eyes at all' person lol...). Imagine them with light gray eyes though.. agh

#I really don’t think my mom actually understands that I’m disabled #like she says she supports me and wants to help but the focus of almost everything is just fixing all my issues so I can be normal #and she has previously said that she sees my crutches (something that is very helpful to me and lets me do more stuff without being in #excruciating pain) as me giving up #and yes I would like to be doing better than I am now #but I have multiple conditions that are chronic and I’m going to have to deal with my whole life #(not to mention that she’s talked about how she knows other people with one of the things I have and because they aren’t disabled by it I #should be fine)#(of course this is ignoring that I have other shit going on too)#and she’s basically given me a time limit on how long I’m allowed to take to recover #and basically wants me to only focus on getting better after I graduate #but to her that seems to mean constant doctors appointments and not doing other things that aren’t ’getting better’#when what I really need right now is rest #part of why I’m struggling so much is that I kept pushing myself past the point where it was healthy and my body just couldn’t handle that #and she says she knows recovery isn’t a quick thing but well I also only have four years to be well enough to work a full time job #and I get the concern over insurance I really do #but I’m also concerned that a normal full time job just isn’t going to be something I can do #like working two days a week left me unable to do pretty much anything else for the rest of the week #and I was having at least one meltdown a week and that was doing something I actively wanted to do #and yeah it was in a loud space doing a lot of physical labor #but even working at a different job where I was sitting down most of the time made me want to crawl out of my skin #and I’m so scared that I’m not going to be able to move out or support myself and how my parents are going to act about that #I also just really don’t want to go back to living with them but right now I kind of really need to #and I also don’t want to move hundreds of miles away from my friends #I finally have friends who I love and who actually care about me #and in a month I’m going to be so far away from them again #and traveling takes so much energy so I probably won’t be able to see them often #I joke about it a lot but genuinely I would love to live in some big house with my friends #I really stuggle with socializing and keeping up connections and being near people would make that so much easier #j rambles
