at least have it aggregate notes up the chain. like if I go back to the original post I should still see all the notes from all reblogs, not just ones without additions.
this actively discourages adding comments to art or gifs, reblogging art or gifs with comments, etc. It's also just... philosophically not how I think about additions on reblogs. like those aren't *my* notes. they are op's notes, and i'm sharing some of them.
