it's our Recollection today. to be honest with, i really wanted to take a leave of absence today from work simply because -- i'm tired. just tired. aside from that, I thought that today's recollection would just be another "band aid" solution or just another "drug-like-experience" -- effective today, effect gone tomorrow. I have to admit that this so-called-existential-crisis is really creeping up my soul these past few months that even if I read the scriptures (which i just do haphazardly these past few months), His words just won't sink in my heart... and I really feel somewhat guilty about it. This "guilt" made me unoroductive. It made me more unfruitful. It made me more skeptic. but, God has a way of "convincing" me to get up, dress up and to just "keep going." I'm so blessed with the wisdom and knowledge of today's facilitator forour Recollection. Surely, his words are not something really new. In fact, I've heard those teachings for like a hundred times ever since I studied Psychology, but, he made it sound like those ideas are something new..something that i need to hear... something that I need to be reminded of... something that I need to revisit : "KNOW THYSELF" so that you will know GOD more and be more by God's grace and so you can serve His purpose for you in this world.
