         “Sorry - I seem to have misplaced mine. But I’m sure we can find some detective who’d happily let you test out their cuffs.” 

       kyle sat down in the seat of a corner booth of some less than respectable cantina, opposite a man that he’d never met in person before. a man who was quite hard to track down. “marsten.” kyle said, leaning back in the chair as if he were relaxed and not hyperaware of everything around them. “i’m kyle katarn. i’m here to talk some business -” as he spoke, he placed a satchel of imperial credits on top of the table, keeping a hand on it lest anyone decide to try and snatch it. “ - if you’re looking for work.”

“ I was told that you were the guy to go to. “ he begins as he settles himself down onto a nearby chair, hands dropping to his lap. the man there before him looks just as he was described and Klaus finds it interesting enough that he’s the one that could perhaps help him. he clears his throat, leaning back where he was sitting. “ the guy to go to to tell me why the bloody hell I’m a ghost. can’t I either move on or maybe just....come back to earth in my original body? “ he demands it with frustration.

       katherine had to bit down on her tongue hard to keep her mouth shut when she discovered karl amongst the other people. she kinda made a deal with elijah to drop the conversation in order to get information. which didn't involve the wolf. but then elijah also made it clear that she's not allowed to talk with karl about the topic, even more so, he'd appreciate it if she doesn't talk to him at all. now katherine isn't one to follow rules but she respects elijah and certainly doesn't want to anger him. angered originals are no fun. her brown eyes followed karl through the crowd when she came to the realization that he probably doesn't know who she is. which means that there's a good chance elijah won't find out. her lips pulled up as she made her way through the crowd. "looking for something, not so unknown stranger?" she asked when finally coming to a halt next to him. "a gift, perhaps? i know what whose name can not be named likes. most times, at least."

       “I don’t know, Karl, I think it adds a bit of SPICE to an otherwise incredibly dull day.” Moreno says with a grin, watching the werewolf with raised eyebrows. “Don’t tell me you’re not happy to see me. I’ll be hurt.” Yeah, sure.

    elijah: sees klaus ( @sireofhybrids ) threaten karl ( @thiefwclf​ )      elijah: no.

         Karl was probably asleep, Elijah told himself. He wouldn’t want to wake him up. It could wait to the morning, he was sure. It’s not like it’s been years.... Elijah wouldn’t blame him if he decided that all of this was worth too much trouble - there had been no guarantee that any of the Mikaelsons could be woken up in a timely fashion. But as they approach the house, he sees Karl waiting on the porch and he knows there’s no delaying this ( he didn’t want to, he wanted to see karl, he’s missed him so much. ) so he approaches as his siblings and Hayley head inside. There’s so much he could say, so much he’s thought about saying in the Chambre, but all that he manages to say is: “Hello Karl.”
