katherine had to bit down on her tongue hard to keep her mouth shut when she discovered karl amongst the other people. she kinda made a deal with elijah to drop the conversation in order to get information. which didn't involve the wolf. but then elijah also made it clear that she's not allowed to talk with karl about the topic, even more so, he'd appreciate it if she doesn't talk to him at all. now katherine isn't one to follow rules but she respects elijah and certainly doesn't want to anger him. angered originals are no fun. her brown eyes followed karl through the crowd when she came to the realization that he probably doesn't know who she is. which means that there's a good chance elijah won't find out. her lips pulled up as she made her way through the crowd. "looking for something, not so unknown stranger?" she asked when finally coming to a halt next to him. "a gift, perhaps? i know what whose name can not be named likes. most times, at least."
