1. What’s your favourite type of voice when it comes to other’s utau? (feminine, masculine, deep, nasally, throaty etcetc))
MATURE VOICES. I have huge soft spot for masculine voices/male utaus but when it comes to female, deep/mature voices are my fancy.
2. What cover are you most proud of ?
Hummmmmm I wouldn't know actually. I think the EDEN and Lone Girl Remaining In The World covers (both featuring Caeles) are two of my best works????
3. How did you discover the utau fandom?
Via VOCALOID. I was looking up free vocaloid material (hey, it was 2011 at the time, i was young and naive) and came across UTAU and was like oh boy you can have free loids! And then I didn't actually produce any banks of my own till end of 2011/early 2012 and now IDK I'm just ... making my way as quietly as anyone else.
4. What are you grateful for right now?
I am grateful because UTAU mainly drove me to use more drawn art and this is currently becoming a "major" part of what I want to do later on with my sorry life.
I am also grateful because UTAU brought interesting people I never knew I'd become so endeared of to me and, without sounding cheesy, you guys mean a lot for me.
5. What would you consider to be your strong points when it comes to making covers /doing utau related things?
I think my general UTAU work is.... pretty average.
Sorry for not being as enthusiastic as others about my work but I can't really spot a real "strong point" in it. The art/video creation part is average/meh... And even after almost 3 years in UTAU I still can't mix anything to save my life. (huge props to thibaud for dealing wiht my crap everytime ")
So I guess my stronger point is tuning/UST making??
6. Why did you choose the design your utau has, and what do you like most about it?
Okay I'm kinda ashamed to admit it but it's pretty common knowledge by now: the only UTAU I ACTUALLY FULLY created/designed myself is Ciel.
NiKORU and NiKO were originally created/designed by Ushou.
Marie was part of the Fraloids project lead by KevinP9568.
I am the voice provider and co-owner of these three guys.
I however "took over" Marie's full ownership since recently, because the Fraloids project is kinda... dead.
So, for Ciel's design, well actually his present design is VERY FAR from what I first designed him to be LOL. He was much much MUCH more like an automaton, a pure... steam robot-looking doll. Very steampunk/horror influenced.
Then he became more human-looking when I wrote his BG story.
I think my favorite parts of his design are the clock monocle accessory and the eyes. Originally, the clock wasn't a monocle, it was actually embedded into his head and his hair was shaved on the side because the entire side of his head was nothing but apparent, grostesque-looking clock-like machinery. Yea.
Marie's design hasn't varied a lot, I however changed her default outfit like a MILLION times and I still change it like twice a day.
NiKORU and NIKO's ref sheets ACTUALLY HAVE NEVER BEEN SHOWN IN PUBLIC and I'm so sorry for that OTL
7. What are your interests outside of utau?
Singing/music in general mostly. The games world too. Drawing I guess too. I like communicating with foreigners/in foreign languages too?
8. Is there anything you’d like to do but haven’t got around to doing?
UTAU-wise? I want to record a multiptich CVVC French voicebank for both Ciel and Marie, a CVVC English for Marie and I need to SHAKE Ciel's male voicer off his hell-deep lazyness to make Ciel's male multipitch VCV.
9. Who do you look up to in the fandom and why?
A LOT OF PEOPLE. REALLY. A LOT. Just quoting some from top fo head in no particular order:
Thibaud because he's my ultimate bro/bff and I'm so proud of him to have become such a good UTAUser like YOU GO BRO.
Kaisuki because she's really one of the nicest persons I know in this fandom and her voice is so versatile I'm jealous.
Deecee who left the fandom recently but their works were all very impacting and original. I still enjoy their UTAUs a hell lot and I wish they'd all get more recognition and praise.
Adriann because she has the most gorgeous art and characters ever. You rock.
Steel because of all the reasons above, and also because he's the coolest guy I've ever seen strutting on the net.
Chase because his original musics are SUPER RAD and I love his joyful/playful personality and spontaneity. Also, his fucking voice.
Nageko because their works are always neat and they've improved at the speed of sound recently regarding art. And I like Delta's character.
Matt/CircusP because his musics are super gorgeous and he is adorable to everyone.
Plus/Minus because his musics are my daily drug. Not even joking. And he's SO UNDERRATED I WISH HE GOT MORE ATTENTION.
Revo/rebellioustroll because his UTAU Karasu "Corbeau" Yuutsukoe is the only fucking shota that touches my heart right in the dokis and I effing love his works and art. Boo.
11. What’s your favourite bank you’ve produced?
I hesitate between Ciel's EMOTIONS 4VCVVC or Marie's FINALE 3VCV.
