So I had a physio assessment yesterday and I must say I am super impressed with the speed my new physio Rosie acted was n my needs! I have a new physio program, another visit booked next week, a referral to a very specific neuro-rehab group class, and today I had this lovely brand new Zimmer delivered, plus new casters for my travel/going out Zimmer! That’d truly efficient, fair play! Rosie also told me I was a pleasure to work with, and that everyone on the team would be very jealous she gets to be my physio! Apparently they were all fighting over who’s get to see me as I’m literally the youngest person the team is working with by about four decades 😂! It was also really interesting talking to Rosie about my pain. When we were discussing pain scores for example, I explained that I get at least three different types of pain at all times;?neuropathic, spasmodic, and general pain (or morphine receptor Pain), and whist one of those scores could be as low as a three on a really good day, another could be an eight! She also told me when she did her physical exam that I don’t really respond to pain normally; she could see an exercise hurting me, but when she asked if I was okay, I said yes, and when she asked if that hurt, I said no 😂! Anyway, I’m just really impressed with the community physio team! #communityphysiotherapy #theyreawesome #newzimmer (at Cardiff) https://www.instagram.com/p/Bx2zO4ghXHM/?igshid=cw3uep5j5e07
