I think they're still friends, judging from their pics at paleyfest Jake's radio interview when he said this story about her fondly behind the scenes as well as other things. None of the cast are that close though where they'd hang out in real life, but they all seem to get on well enough. And I think the reason they didn't give interviews together was because they're not really supposed to talk about the Nick/Jess stuff because interviews just seem to make people more mad about the breakup
Well I know that Jake & Damon and Jake & Max are good friends off set and do actually go out and see each other when they arenât filming or doing press. So, I donât believe that none of the case are that close. I do think itâs different for Jake and Zooey though, because he is married and she is dating someone. It would be weird for them to go out all the time together. But they do still mention each other a lot in interviews. They even said in one interview that out of the whole cast they would call the other to come pick them up on the side of the road at 2 a.m. So, they clearly have a really good friendship. It is just complicated because they are both in relationships. So it wouldât be appropriate for them to be flirting all the time and always going out together (as much as i would love it).
