It comes down to this: they haven't seen each other since the North, Katara's royally pissed off, and Zuko can't properly focus when she's so close. (Not that he's complaining.)

βHey, does this mean I can get up now?β Katara gestured at the empty space that had been full of clingy firebender not a second before.
βNo. This means I haven't had a meaningful conversation with that boy yet, and I'm already done with him. You're not going anywhere.β
She huffed and smacked his arm, but stayed in place.
βHuh,β he muttered. βIf I had known a command was all it took to make you submit, I wouldn't have tied you up all those months ago.β
She blushed. Badly. βYou're really asking for it, aren't you?β
βTell me something I don't know.β
