Everyone has a bit different definition of bi, pan and polysexuality. First of all - the sexuality of your partner does not influence your own. For me (I’m bi) bisexuality is the capability to feel sexual and/or romantic attraction to people of the same gender as mine and different than mine. Pansexuality is the attraction to people of all genders but (for me) it’s more like gender-blind. Poly is the attraction to many genders but not necessarily all:) Hope this helps:)

interesting reply, and yeah it would make sense that your partners sexuality doesn’t have anything to do with your own, i don’t know where i heard of this or why i believed it. 

reclusivesoul said something about the difference maybe being that bisexuality refers to cis-gendered people(maybe not non-binary inclusive). I think that some people define their bisexuality that way, because they know they’re not attracted to all genitals and all types of combinations. I don’t know myself if I think that’s my opinion, but it’s worth thinking about.

2)  Why did you choose your URL?

I was the biggest fan of That Guy With The Glasses some 5 years ago, i still like the series a lot, and back then, i created the name for my deviantart and other things as my signature for everything on the internet. I am Danish, and i thought that was my defining characteristic, because there was already a thatchickwiththeglasses(more or less) but not so much Danish visibility.

4) If you could be a fairytale/fictional pet, what would you be?

??? like a fictional/mythological creature? i’ve always loved mermaids, but i think i’d prefer being a harpy(but like a duck-harpy, so i can still dive).

Anything purple. or glitter, though it’s not really a technical color, but a state of being.

6) Favorite song

I can’t say… my favorite song is either 10 different songs or it just changes with the weather. there are songs i will love forever, like all of marina and the diamonds discography.

8) Why do you like Tumblr?

Tumblr has taught me how to be a better person. I’ve learned so much about other people and how they feel. I started tumblr just to have a space for my fandom stuff, but it’s become so much more than that.    

(paraphrasing thewordismighty because this is literally the same that happened for me. i came to tumblr to start shipping the x-men back in 2012, and it escalated so fast. i love tumblr because i hear of things every day i would never have heard of if i hadn’t found the site, like gender and sexuality, the black lives matter movement, modern all-inclusive feminism and such. i wouldn’t be as open and have different perspectives for everything if it wasn’t for tumblr.)
