Really happy and surprised at all the nice answers ! I honestly agree with all of them on the same level, since you all had different responses.Ā

Everyone has a bit different definition of bi, pan and polysexuality. First of all - the sexuality of your partner does not influence your own. For me (Iām bi) bisexuality is the capability to feel sexual and/or romantic attraction to people of the same gender as mine and different than mine. Pansexuality is the attraction to people of all genders but (for me) itās more like gender-blind. Poly is the attraction to many genders but not necessarily all:) Hope this helps:)
interesting reply, and yeah it would make sense that your partners sexuality doesnāt have anything to do with your own, i donāt know where i heard of this or why i believed it.Ā
reclusivesoul said something about the difference maybe being that bisexuality refers to cis-gendered people(maybe not non-binary inclusive). I think that some people define their bisexuality that way, because they know theyāre not attracted to all genitals and all types of combinations. I donāt know myself if I think thatās my opinion, but itās worth thinking about.

I know that Iām made to be something like bi or pan, but the real difficult thing is finding out what defines me best, what I say I am. Iāve told people before that Iām bi, but I have always needed to know what that and pan really means so that I know Iām not misidentifying myself. Donāt know if I will keep saying bi, or if Iāll say pan instead.
