I don’t know. Today seemed like a good day to get out all of my Bulgakov. (I also have read Heart of a Dog, from the library, and have a copy of Morphine as a stand-alone, which I believe is currently lent out to my sister.) . . I discovered Bulgakov through The Master and Margarita, like one does, then when Melville House published a bunch of his other books, I knew I had to read further. I have loved all of these so much it’s impossible to pick favorites.
