So I went to Manila earlier today for my quarterly checkup with my endocrinologist and I asked my mom if she could lift the book buying ban she has imposed on me to buy these babies 😍😍😍 The 3 and a half hours of travel going to Manila was certainly worth it after I stumbled upon these rare finds 😍 (Rare in the Philippines😅) I’m tired, broke and happy all at once 🤣 So I just decided earlier this year that I was finally going to start collecting #TheLunarChronicles by @marissameyerauthor and then I stumbled upon a copy of #Cress This just means that I really have to look for the copies of the rest of the series 😂 Next up was a copy of @elimpix ‘s contribution to @disneybooks ‘ #ATwistedTale series. I actually got my hands on a copy of #Reflection!!! Although it’s a different edition from the other three of the collection that I do have, this is actually very, very hard to come by so I bought it as well 😬 The mangas were my little brother’s idea of a pasalubong (it’s a Filipino thing wherein you can’t go back home empty handed. You need a little gift/homecoming present for those who did not travel with you 😑) Lastly, but certainly not the least, yesterday, I commented on a giveaway by @cjredwine that her books are so hard to come by on the bookstores here in my country. Just imagine my surprise, now, a day later, that I stumbled upon not just one, but two of her books! And they were the very last copies on hand as confirmed by the bookstore 😭 I had to let go of the copy of #TheTraitorPrince that I found because another girl was calling dibs on it, while I asked her if I could get the last copy of #TheWishGranter so that I would not feel so down 😂😂😂 Long story short, as you can see on the picture, she relented!!!
