I've listened to this song for over 10 years and heard it many times but never really thought about the lyrics. When working on the project I was playing it and I actually listened to it. I originally danced to it in 2013 and dancing to it today it felt a bit awkward as the song is quite dark (I think - disappointed to find no comments for the song on song meanings.com).
Anyways thanks to The Soviettes for the inspiration and their music - still sad I never got to see them live!
