@thesecondseal first off, Seal!! *hugs* I wasn't aware you're still around (probably because I wasn't following you anymore for some reason, but that's fixed now).

Secondly, thank you. You put into words what is bothering me so much. It's that I'm basically never the friend someone calls about the mundane stuff, but I'd really like to be. So the fact that it doesn't ever happen nowadays makes me feel left out / unwanted / like everyone secretly finds me annoying.

Okay so all the non/dub con you mentioned definitely pinged with me, in fact the BH and I were...we'll say vigorously discussing this today. I personally am not fond of most of the changes to Yenn' s backstory and especially all of that. @trulycertain

Hello! It’s been alright. I’ve been a bit quiet lately since I just haven’t had the spoons but I’m also juggling a lot of hopes and plans moving into this year. I’ve been on a roll the last week but I think I overdid it since my brain now refuses to function lol. <3

You’re right, and I should have mentioned it before now, that boosting the voices of creators of color is far more important than half-arsing my own attempt to simulate something I will never understand through fiction of my own.

I get that. One of my high school teachers said something to that effect that really stuck with me through school. What he said was "if you don't 100% know that your answer is wrong, keep your first answe

They were right.  Same thing goes for undergrad and grad school, apparently. Our caveat was phrased as, “If you don’t have a VERY good reason to change your answer, don’t.”

This has seriously become a faith issue for me.  Knowing God can? Most definitely.  Wondering if He will?  Idk.  We’re meant for growth, not smooth sailing. And am I even supposed to consider myself in this equation?  I’m doing my part, giving Him plenty to work with.  I just don’t know.  Thank you for your phrasing, seriously.
