2. How did you discover your sexuality, tell your story?

ok there’s a text post that’s like “it didn’t take me long to figure out i like women, it took my forever to figure out that i don’t like men” and i really feel that bc that’s literally how i it went for mei figured out that i liked women at a fairly young age, like 10-11, bc i had a crush on my dance teacher in 5th grade. from basically 6th grade on i thought of myself as bisexual. it wasn’t until after high school that i realized i wasn’t attracted to men, that any ‘attraction’ i did feel was probably based in heteronormativity and was nowhere near how to felt about women. i was 19 when i figured out i was a lesbian, and it’s been pretty cool ever since!

3. Have you experienced being misgendered? What happened and how did you overcome it?

as a nonbinary person, i basically get misgendered everyday lmao. i constantly get called ma’am and miss bc i do look ‘feminine’.i’ve tried to ask my parents to refer to me with they/them pronouns, but unfortunately they didn’t take it very well lmao, mostly they laughed and thought it was ridiculous. as much as a love my parents and am close to them, they don’t fare too well with lgbt stuff. so i do get misgendered, and it sucks, and i really appreciate that i can at least come online and have people here refer to me in the correct way ♥

11. Do you experience dysphoria? If so, how does that affect you?

this is a difficult question to answer for me. the answer is very complicated. i don’t like the way i look, i don’t think it matches my gender identity, i’m very distressed about it, and i don’t know how to rectify any of that. again, as a nonbinary person, it’s difficult to really have my gender identity and gender presentation match bc there is no set way a nonbinary person looks/should look. there is androgyny, of course, but i feel like even then, if i did look androgynous, people would still try to fit my into a gendered box. so the problem is both personal dysphoria and the way the world currently works in regards to gender

26. What identity advice would you give your younger self?

um, the usual, cheesy stuff. it’s okay that you like women, that you don’t like men. lesbian is a good, pure word and it’s okay to call yourself that. there’s nothing wrong with being a “stereotypical” lesbian, find gay friends bc straight people are exhausting

there’s nothing better than reading the DM’s tags on something and seeing their evil plan laid out. really all DMs are super villains who want an opportunity to monologue.

we all just want to be dramatic! and that’s valid.

2. Is trust a big issue for you?

I’m not overly trusting from the get-go, and even when I do trust people, I still have this fear in the back of my mind that one day they’re going to just up and leave, and that’s suuuuper not fun to deal with.

My partner Kayte usually, or you, Rune.

20. Did you talk to someone until you fell asleep last night?

Yes, I was talking with kayte until like 11am my time and then we both went to bed.

24. Is there a profession you picture your future spouse doing?

Publishing poetry, or teaching.

Band (that gets upstaged by your best friend with a ukulele)

38. Do you care if people talk badly about you? 

Yes, I have very thin skin.

46.If you had to delete one year of your life completely, which would it be? 

1992-1993, aka the year i was conceived and born.

52. Is your life anything like it was two years ago? 

Well, this time two years ago I didn’t have hormones, and I didnt have a girlfriend, so very different.
