note: these aren't 100% accurate, my perceptions of the sisters have changed since i drew these! tbh i think the only one i would still consider to be somewhat accurate is bonnie 💀 also ik the sisters are all canonically blonde however ☝️i know more than the author ok trust

cecilia:

probably collects stationery and stickers

i feel like as an adult she might have become pagan/been a witch, specifically celtic or hellenistic paganism. she just gives me those vibes

probably cuts her own hair and braids in ribbons and beads

i just KNOW she has a dead bug collection she hides from her parents. she especially loves butterflies

probably the most religious/spiritual of all the sisters, but not in a way that is palatable to the type of christianity she grew up around

tries to talk to ghosts and spirits constantly

(she probably didn't have access to horror movies but i think that if she had she would LOVEEE them. i know suspiria came out about 2y after she canonically died but i think had she been alive for it it would become her favourite film of all time)

reads lots of classic gothic horror novels (think dracula and frankenstein). i think mina harker would be her fav character and she would aspire to be like mary shelley

collects matchboxes that bonnie would later use for the maintenance of the candle altar at her window

lux:

i feel like shes probably somewhere on the asexual/aromantic spectrum. no evidence for this whatsoever but i just Know™

had she been born a bit later she would have LOVEDDD 80s metal like metallica and anthrax. i could totally see her getting into the riot grrl scene (even though that's more 90s i think) overall i just think of her as such a music person. in an alternate reality where she got out somehow i feel like she would become some kind of musician.

almost as insecure as mary and feels like shes very pale so she tries to tan a lot

used to fight with cecilia CONSTANTLY before her death and after she dies blames herself for what happened

bonnie:

i think she would really like rainbow and funfetti cake. i have no evidence for this whatsoever, whenever i see it i think of her. i just think she would like it hehe

really likes birds. not like a major birdwatcher by any means she just thinks theyre cool. favourite bird would probably be swans and geese but she likes seeing little sparrows

takes care of the candle altar at cecilia's window like she's one of the vestal virgins of ancient rome. every day she wakes up and makes sure theyre all lit and she checks them again every evening before going to sleep.

only gets called bonaventure by her parents when they're mad at her so she doesn't really use it. she doesn't really like 'bonnie' though either because in her opinion it sounds childish. sometimes she introduces herself to people with a name she thinks sounds cooler. the only time she introduces herself as bonaventure is if she's trying to impress them

queen of inventing scenarios in her head. i think she's a big reader and a dreamer, and especially loves fantasy books. she has sooo many ocs

has minor problems reading up close but doesn't want to wear glasses so she doesn't tell anyone

mary:

struggles with her insecurities a lot and lowkey has an addiction to makeup (its a coping mechanism)

if any of her sisters ever want their makeup done really nicely she'll do it for them and make it look amazing

probably the best at giving advice. i feel like shes a very introspective type of person, very quiet and introverted but she thinks a lot.

likes pastries and always tries to bake but mrs lisbon thinks she makes a mess in the kitchen so she isn't often able to

i think she would probably want to become some sort of stylist, doing something fashion or makeup related. i could see her working for a magazine honestly.

always cold. you will reliably find her wearing at least five sweaters at all times

has an amazing earring and ring collection but doesn't really like wearing necklaces

therese:

i think she probably felt very guilty after cecilia's death. as the eldest sister i can imagine she probably felt a certain degree of responsibility towards her siblings and wanted to help get them out of their abusive environment. that said i don't think she knew how to even handle that abusive environment herself so i think in her case it tends to kind of like. snowball in a sense? like her mindset is very much stuck between "i need to get out of this house" and "i could never leave my sisters behind here"

i know the sisters are all described as being blonde but i always imagine her as having short dark brown hair. maybe the sisters' hair tends to darken as they grow older? idk

wears glasses but once the sisters are banned from going outside she stops wearing them

collects old tech to tinker with. her desk is half full of pens and pencils and half full of batteries wires and components that are probably mostly broken
