LOOK i dont think theyre AT ALL ugly, but it is a running gag with my colleagues that theyre a blight to look at and also, every girlfirend ive ever had refuses to let me wear them in public but i think thats hateful. are they orthopedic clogs? maybe. will i be SHAMED for that??? no!

Yes!!! I want to see it on a whim and it was absolutely amazing!!! I was in a really bad production of Macbeth around that time, and it made me change my mind on my view of the play.

Young girls portraying this story is a thousand times more effect than any version of I've seen or been in previously.

so there are a couple of reasons why this can happen. basically, with the icing rules, there is a period of time when it is possible that icing is going to be called -- essentially, during the race for the puck. the ref might like, hold an arm up to kind of indicate that he’s extremely ready and excited to call icing. 

however!

if a player of the team who did the icing (ie the team that sent the puck), is the first to touch it/first to reach the faceoff dots, it could be waved off, or if the linesman is just like, meh, that was a pass and the person just whiffed it, or i THINK if the linesman is like ... ok very obviously that puck could have been caught by the other team and they chose not to in order to get an icing call, they’re allowed to wave it off. that last one might not be true. it might just be something that i think they should be allowed to do.

it sounds silly but something i do to help keep stuff like that on track is i'll, like, take the pills, and then say out loud "i just took my pills" i do this everytime i put away my water bottle bc im always forgetting it/anxious abt forgetting it. ill say out loud (or whisper to myself if im in public) "I just put away my water bottle"
