i think when i say "had a [blorbo] possession dream" a lot of people assume i mean "a dream where i am possessing [blorbo]" but usually i mean "dream where i'm completely uninvolved and it's just a story playing out that happens to involve [blorbo] getting possessed" or, perhaps funnier, "Dream Where I Am [Blorbo] And I Get Possessed"

also one of my favorite possession things is when whatever possession force is not capable of being contained safely within a mortal body and its vessel starts deteriorating or breaking down as a result. when blood vessels burst in their eyes or their nose starts bleeding or rotten spots bloom across their skin or any other signs of stress eating away at their vessel show up it's like OOH YAY
bonus points if the possessing force is completely unfazed by their deteriorating vessel and doesn't even acknowledge it (whether or not the damage is affecting their ability to operate the body). also bonus points also if they use it to purposefully intimidate or scare the vessel's loved ones. well also bonus points if the possessing force is displeased by the deterioration and dislike the side effects because it makes them unable to inhabit a vessel for long periods of time. bonus points for all of it. it's all great. 5 stars
