Recipe: Quinoa Tabouli
So I finally decided to hop on the bandwagon and make something with the ever popular âsuperfoodâ, quinoa. (Idk about you, but I had major problems first pronouncing quinoa. Please tell me I wasnât the only one???)
This recipe will definitely be travelling to Australia with me when I get to uni. Itâs healthy, super fulfilling and most importantly, it is quick and easy to make. Just like any salad, the vegetables can be modified to suit whatever you like as itâs incredibly versatile.Â
Made banana cake/bread! From http://dessert.food.com/recipe/best-ever-banana-cake-with-cream-cheese-frosting-67256?photo=370687 However I made some changes and used normal milk instead of buttermilk and I didn't have enough flour so I added some rolled oats to substitute. Turned out very moist and delicious anyway! With a crunchy outer layer. Next time I'll try and add the cream cheese frosting đ - green pea

Update from Small Pea
Dear wonderful followers all 2 of you (one of who is one of the peas),Â
Review: Silla Korean Restaurant Brunei
You know that one day when you pass through your motherâs internal cavity known as the womb and companies like Hallmark commercialize on this anniversary? In case you havenât caught on, this is the birthday. Or what I recently discovered was the Birth-Day.
Anyway, last week was the anniversary I Ieft the womb so I decided to celebrate by having a get together with some of my friends. After some deliberation I decided to settle with Silla, probably one of the most underrated Korean restaurants in Brunei (in my opinion - call me biased, but some of the most authentic Korean food in the country). I have been to Korea, the chef is Korean, so tell me now- am I still biased?
Probably.
One of the things I like about Silla (apart from its food obviously) is the fact that they are able to offer a private VIP room for just only $20.
The fact that the bulogi (marinated beef - served in self cook fashion) is one of my favourite dishes at the restaurant and I didnât manage to take a picture of it is just disappointing. Iâm disappointed in my self too. Fortunately I did take a photo of the side dishes and the Japchae potato noodles but which doesnât obviously do the restaurant much justice.
The array of free flowing sides - did I mention free flowing sides? - including favourites such as picked radish and sautĂŠed eggplant is just another reason to pay Silla a visit. But hey, their service staff is perhaps one of the best in Brunei! Even though one did forget to take away my Kimchi stew (yes Iâm still hung up over that) they were friendly and willing to cater to our pestering demands for more food, ice water and beef.
If the owner of Silla does read this, let it be known that I am very grateful for the cake that she bought me. As a person who has had many a cheesecake, this Oreo cheesecake was the best I have ever had and without the knowledge of Mr Bakerâs Bakeshopâs Oreo cheesecake I will have ceased to exist to this day (today). Maybe an exaggeration but probably one of the sweetest presents (pun) anyone has given me. Forgive me for the lack of images as I was so preoccupied with eating I have forgotten the purpose of my visit (apart from celebrating the anniversary of leaving the womb!) Love always, Small Pea
