LoJoFAM Mad talented people we’ve been lucky enough to create with! So this quiet, unassuming cat named Fernell Hogan II kinda defies description. I’m gonna start calling him The Originator because his Broadway career has been a series of firsts. And after working with this brother it’s VERY easy to see why he’s tapped to originate roles in new musicals. Fernell quickly rose to the top of our list of favorite performers to work with. So after coming off of a Broadway premiere in “The Prom” and the first tour of “Mean Girls” (18 Tony nominations spread across these two new musicals) he’s now originating a new role in another new musical. Kimberly Akimbo is adapted from the 2000 play by Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright David Linsay Abaire with a score from Tony-winning composer Jeanine Tesori (Fun Home, Shrek The Musical, Caroline, or Change, Violet, Thoroughly Modern Millie) He’ll be playing alongside some of Broadway’s greatest performers, known for their comedic chops and soaring vocals. We’re confident that he’ll continue to have a hand in new work being created by Broadway’s greatest creators. We’re honored that he’s also chosen to devote his time and talent to help us bring our musical series A Song of Greenwood to life. @FernellHogan @atlantictheater @beltinbons #LoJoWERKz #LoJoWerkzDailyDope #FernellHogan #TheOriginator #ASOGDreamTeam #KimberlyAkimbo https://www.instagram.com/p/CTc5DKKFcWN/?utm_medium=tumblr
