The Office Burger is a classic and tasty burger recipe that has grilled patties that are juicy, bacon that is crispy, melted cheddar cheese, and a special sauce. It is a popular dish that will make your mouth water and satisfy your burger cravings.
Ingredients: 2 pounds ground chuck 80% lean. Salt and freshly ground black pepper. 1/2 cup mayonnaise. 1/4 cup ketchup. 1/4 cup Dijon mustard. 8 slices applewood-smoked bacon. 1 large red onion, thinly sliced. Vegetable oil, for brushing. 4 hamburger buns. 4 slices sharp cheddar cheese. 4 leaves green leaf lettuce. 4 slices ripe tomatoes. Pickles, for serving.
Instructions: Cut the ground chuck into four equal pieces and form each into a patty. Add salt and pepper to both sides of the patties. To make the sauce, mix the mayonnaise, ketchup, and Dijon mustard in a small bowl. Put away. Warm up a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat. It should take about 5 minutes on each side to grill the bacon until it's crispy. Use a paper towel-lined plate to drain the food. Put the onion slices on the grill and brush them with vegetable oil. Cook for about two minutes on each side, until they are lightly charred and soft. Take it off the grill. Put the hamburger patties on the grill and cook them until they're done the way you like them. For medium-rare, this will take about 4 minutes per side. Cover each patty with a lid and put a slice of cheddar cheese on top in the last minute of cooking. This will melt the cheese. While the patties are cooking, split the buns in half and toast them on the grill until they are just barely browned. Spread the sauce on the bottom half of each toasted bun before putting the burgers together. Put a lettuce leaf, a tomato slice, a grilled onion, two bacon slices, and a patty with cheese on top. If you want, add pickles. Put the bun's top half on top. Enjoy while hot!
