So, I watched Pilgrimage (2017) and it is an amazing movie and I fell in love with it. I was on a Tom Holland movie binge and stumbled across this movie and holy shit I love it so much. If you haven't seen it I highly recommend it! Tom Holland's character, Diarmuid, is this cute little novice monk and he is so precious. He is bffs (lbr, they boyfriends) with Jon Bernthal's character, "the mute", 'cause he doesn't speak - they figure he took a vow of silence to atone for his part in the gruesome crusades. Jon Bernthal plays Shane in The Walking Dead/The Punisher in the Netflix Marvel series (Daredevil Season 2 and The Punisher show [[this will be relevant later when I regale y'all with my Spider-man + Punisher story ideas...]]). ANYWAY! The movie takes place in 1206AD or something insane like that and they go on a pilgrimage! Tasked to bring a relic from their small remote monastery in Ireland to Rome, Italy, to the Pope. Its intense and its great. <3 BUT! YEAH!
