7) When is your preferred time to write?

I write just before I go to bed! When I was younger I would like write novels in my head and pick up each night from the last. its like a bedtime story kinda

8) Where do you take your inspiration from?

my fave for b’elanna would be b’elanna/seven cause there’s just so much potential there...both outsiders who struggle to find where they fit in in voyager and the world in general, suffering from identity issues, showing their discomfort in all this in very different states. I just think they’re neat! but also have a lot of ideas on how they could work together and some of this may be reiterating on stuff I’ve already talked about before but:

like we all know B’Elanna is “secretly” the romantic, she won’t admit it to Seven but it’s obvious when they start dating and certain comforts end up finding their way to Seven like someone taking her shift to not deal with crewmembers she finds annoying and Seven then starts herself trying to find ways to show appreciation to this because she read up in relationships that it’s always better to do that and B’Elanna won’t stop laughing that Seven read all the books she could on this but really finds it sweet

they’re not the best at expressing their emotions, Seven finds it hard just understanding which one she’s feeling at the best of times and B’Elanna does tend to be prickly about being vulnerable but they’re both trying and that’s the important thing they both recognize here

Seven does in fact pick up cooking again when she remembers how much B’Elanna liked it that one time, B’Elanna keeps joking about pairing the food with different alcohols just to see Seven twitch a little but compliments her on it every time

Like the time she did it for the Doctor, B’Elanna programs certain more realistic programs for Seven to help her whenever Seven wants to practice social engagement without the actual social engagement, Seven hardly ever uses them because B’Elanna’s right there and is more interesting to talk to anyway

“I could not work with Carey.” “Look I know he’s not me but he’s actually not terrible.” “You are correct. It is precisely that he is not you that I could not work with him.”

Seven unconsciously strokes B’Elanna’s hair whenever she lies down near her after an annoying day and is complaining about things, she hasn’t even noticed she’s doing it and B’Elanna has to bit her lip not to say anything (which is funny because B’Elanna hasn’t noticed that whenever Seven is nearby she reaches out to take Seven’s hand or place her hand on Seven’s back or just touch Seven and Seven’s not one for people invading her personal space but she makes an allowance for this)

Let’s see if these facts are random enough for you:

1. I once hit an F over high C at an audition, and still didn’t get the part.

2. I worked on many plays, including the undergrad thesis play, of the person who officiated Mary Wiseman’s wedding (Tilly from Discovery). The last moment of the play featured an actor jumping out the window at the back of the set, where he would fall about ten feet onto a crash pad, which I was partially responsible. One night in rehearsal, he jumped, hit the crash pad, bounced off it onto a stage light and ripped through the theatre’s $10,000 scrim. (They basically fixed it, but all the tech people employed by the theatre clearly went out to drink heavily afterward.)

3. The actress I worked for in NYC shared a floor of an apartment building with Jerry Seinfeld (I was archiving really astonishing theatre history in her apartment). I was barreling out of work one day, trying to get to a play on time, and as I ran out of the elevator I came about 2cm from truly, impressively headbutting him. If I hadn’t turned at the last second I probably would have broken his nose. It was very embarrassing, but I hope I was moving so fast that he didn’t really see me. (I did some genuinely cool stuff at this internship, but I thought I’d share the embarrassing story instead.)
