During the summer, I used to draw every single day. But now that Iβm in school, I draw mostly on the weekend evenings. Yesterday, I had a good break so I was able to draw 4 pieces.Β
Honestly, cool colors. Because I am doing the 100 palette challenge, there is a mix of warm and cool colors, and even though the contrast is great, some colors just donβt go together. There was a palette I really liked; it was a range of dark blue to light blue and I drew Taiwan with that one. It was aesthetically pleasing to me??? Because there were just like 5 or 6 colors, but they were all blue and violet. There are some palette with some really saturated reds and other heavy colors like neon/pastel colors that really hurt my eyes! But any violets, blues, grays, and greens, I like them. Not saying I dislike reds, oranges, yellows, pinks, and browns, but they tend to be far more saturated and I find them a bit aggressive so that makes my eyes a bit more sensitive. What I do now is I make small boxes to test out colors and put them side by side so that way I get used to them as opposed to just seeing circles. I found that to really help me out recently.Β
