As a parent bringing your child to an amusement park (or anywhere, really), it is YOUR responsibility to make your child excited about the world around them. I get way too many parents that are so obviously disappointed when their child isn't tall enough to ride any of our steel roller coasters, which all have a minimum height requirement of 54 inches. If you tell your child that they "can't do any of the fun ones" or that they "can't do anything good", they will not have fun. The first thing they will think is that they aren't big enough to have any fun. Six Flags is an AMUSEMENT PARK. We have so so many rides and there is literally something that everyone can ride. Some rides might not be as thrilling or as great as the other ones, but parents should ALWAYS encourage their children. It makes me sad and frustrated when parents act like their child is holding them back just because they haven't grown those extra couple of inches. How about telling them how great Dark Knight or Skull Mountain is? How about giving them a high five for being taller than they were last year? How about you be a good parent and just be happy that you get to spend a whole day having fun with your child?
