thinking about people finding out georgie doesn't feel fear and immediately starting up with the 'oh that must be so nice!' and 'I'm jealous of you!' type stuff because they don't understand how difficult and dangerous life can be when your body doesn't have a built-in warning system. thinking about melanie telling people she's low empathy and ending up with them assuming she's heartless and inhuman because they think empathy is a moral virtue and not a neutral trait.

thinking about georgie becoming overcautious and distant to try and compensate for her lack of fear. thinking about melanie leaning into the ghost bullet because if people are going to think she's cruel and violent regardless at least she should get something out of it. thinking about melanie going through shitty therapist after shitty therapist trying to find one who doesn't think her low empathy is a problem that can or needs to be fixed. thinking about georgie getting frustrated with the people in the tunnels for worshipping her when what gives her power during the apocalypse made her life so hard for such a long time.
